A former player coaching a Traction team told me LSU won’t get out of the super regional because of pitching. We just don’t have it.

I didn’t want to believe.

With all due respect to this player, how can he be 100% correct about something that hasn't happened yet?

We're still in it.

He prolly isn’t a former player and is just a travel ball coach. That’s the problem with a lot of you, you all have this travel ball mentality and it is nothing like college baseball

These are the facts of the case and they are undisputed. We just don't have the pitching, or the hitting to pick up the slack when our pitching isn't getting it done...which happens to be a lot of the time.

If he said because of base running I would have believed him. Pitching was good enough to win today.

Does it really matter if he's a former player or not? If he is just a travel ball coach, and he sees the glaring problem that is our pitching staff, that means it doesn't take a genius to see what the problem is with this team...yet, CPM can't seem to fix it. That's the bigger problem, our coach is a tool and doesnt realize it.

I was basketball myself. I have never seen such a piss poor display of base running.

I just love when these types crawl out of the woodwork after a loss and say this shite so they can be edgy and get out in front of it so they can come back and say they knew it all along....

But what if we win the next 2? Report back with his comments then.

We walked 10 guys in 9 innings, that usually isn’t good enough pitching to win.

Henry going out after 2 innings killed us. If he goes at least 5 with his usual stuff we win the game and would be in great shape for tomorrow.

10 walks

2 huge baserunning blunders

FSU battling with 2 strikes

Huge HR when it appeared Trey had got him with a no-swing 3rd strike.

It's been that kind of Season

I’m not sure I believe this.....but let’s say it’s true,....what makes a former player coaching at traction correct.

I know a lot of former players and half of them say shite that doesn’t stick. The fact that they played baseball doesn’t make them an amazing analyst. It’s just an opinion, you can still watch the games .

You should not test the accuracy of predictions on a single one. Numerous specific verifiable predictions with probability specified need be made with statistical analysis of the prior predictions compared with actual results. But hell, this is the rant so you get what you pay for on here!

That former player knew Cole Henry was exiting after two innings? How extraordinary.

Because we had three starters that I expected to give us 18 innings this weekend. That would mean we need nine from our bullpen. Easily done.
