The fact that this post started with Offensive Execution made me not read another word. This is the best offense at LSU in my lifetime, so I will not knit pick or complain about miscues in a game we won 36-13

You’re complaining about. Red zone offense that scores on 100% of their trips and TD’s on 75%

You’re complaining about our third down offense after the first not incredible/unbelievable game.

Yes there are issues with this team, but we just utterly dominated state in all facets of the game and you start a thread acting like we almost lost

Did you really expect the offensive efficiency we saw in the non-conference schedule to continue all year? We’re gonna come back down to earth a little, but it will still be better than anything we’ve ever had. Just be careful with setting expectations too high or you’ll be miserable.

I do agree that there are plenty of things we can work on still, and that’s a good thing.

I highly doubt the dline all of a sudden gets better. The offense was sluggish early, but anyone who truly follows the sport couldve predicted that with the hangover from florida and auburn on deck. Typical sandwich spot

I think we played conservative in redzone for a reason. We wanted to keep ourselves ahead on scoreboard and we never ran burrow as an option because we knew we didn’t need too.

JB keeps the ball on a few rpos for tds against auburn in those short yardage situations.

Shelvin has been pretty consistent and playing at a high level imo. He’s eating up space and blocks and you don’t always notice that contribution.

The two most glaring weakness I see (1) not enough blitz packages, and soft zone BS (2) Vincent has to be replaced....can't cover or tackle.

Dropped passes have not been an issue. Yesterday was an anomaly. Your only valid point is about the defensive pressure and we've beat that drum on here day in and day out.

Dude, we're averaging 50 ppg through 7 games and in a virtual tie for the #1 scoring offense in the nation after playing two highly ranked teams. They are not machines. They will drop a ball here or there, but those have been few and very far between. Everyone is gunning for us now as well with all the hype about Burrow and our offense.

I agree. 3rd in the country with a 50.2 points per game average. Joe's are both doing a subpar jobs and should be replaced. Moron.

Divinity is pretty good on blitzes. That man can dip and rip. Never seen anyone dip that low coming around the edge.
