The two most glaring weakness I see (1) not enough blitz packages, and soft zone BS (2) Vincent has to be replaced....can't cover or tackle.

Aranda does not have the DBs to do what he wants on defense. I dont know why people cant see this.

This in turn affects the pass rush, because he's leaving LB's in the game to cover the middle of the field. When they are supposed to be your main pass rushers.

Replacing Vincent is not realistic.

How do other teams ever blitz? We have as much talent in the defensive backfield as anyone. If you said this aboutthe dline it would make more sense

It's about numbers, not talent. The Aranda defense you've come to love wants at least 5 DBs on the field the majority of the time.

-Fulton
-Delpit
-Stingley

-Vincent
-Stevens (not a DB)
-Flott (Freshman)
- Ward (Freshman)
-Eric Monroe (not good)
-Cam Lewis (not good)

Kelvin Joseph (left team)
Todd Harris (Out for year)
Kenan Jones (left team)
Marcel Brooks (they think he is an LB)

Where's that leave you? it's killing a lot of his creativity

Our depth would start for some teams. If our DC needs NFL talent and experienced players in order to run more blitz packages we need another DC. The reason teams blitz is to put pressure on the qb and naturally it leaves weaknessesin the secondary...that’s the gamble in blitzing. We are built better in the secondary than 95% of all D1 teams so that excuse is terrible

Play calling in the red-zone and in general.

The in general part is a bit strong. But I totally agree with the play calling in the red zone on those 1st 3 trips. But even then, without a blatant missed PI on Chase and a drop, Burrow still converts 2/3.

LSUs is 26th in the nation in scoring defense lol. The sky isn't falling. Aranda is doing what he can.

4) Cade York and his tendency to always kick left. Missed a FG vs UF and shanked a point after yesterday. Not very confident he will show up when needed.

This is pretty much my only concern with this team.

Yards after missed tackles stands out to me to be a huge problem .
