Beloso's move to the OF is the same thing CPM did with Deichmann and it's his best move to further his playing career after LSU. As in, he's not going to play IB at the professional level. Also, Morgan from Brother Martin is a better defensive first baseman than Cade. Question is, can he hit SEC pitching???

Every kid in the SEC is that way. Why do you think everyone isn’t hitting .400? How many times in high school do they face an SEC pitcher? Really not that hard to understand.

Well Deichman could have, he was just a much better athlete than Beloso. & prototypical 1B size, too, unlike Beloso.

Now is the time to see if Beloso is cut out for it. Doesn’t have to be full time but they need to see if it can provide any flexibility when the season starts.

Never said they were recruited just from high school. But they also don’t face SEC pitchers every week or weekend in travel ball or elite tournaments. If you think they do, LOL. They are recruited off of potential and how they project.

CPM said Friday that he is on a committee trying to determine the schedule for 2021. There are several options being discussed but nothing has been decided at this time. I don't think we'll find out anything definite until after fall practice is over and the committee meets again.
