It seems like Brennan is ready to compete for the job, regardless of who the competition includes.

If there is any truth to Williams considering LSU seriously then it makes me feel better about the status of the Rebuild... I dont think he would consider us if there wasnt a decent confidence level.
But as most are saying I dont believe that he is realistically got us on his short list.

This NIL era is going to require discipline. You can't blow cash on every 5 star, it's not good business. Bidding wars are for suckers. A player picking a school solely based on a booster's NIL money is not someone I really want.

He's going to USC. He's milking them for whatever he can. He will make more NIL money at USC than LSU. There's no reason for him to come here with Howard on the roster. We'd probably lose Howard for Williams which ain't happening. this is fluff and nothing more. LSU is not seriously interested. It's probably them throwing our names out to get money.
