You absolutely go after Caleb if you can, with or without Brennan. If you think you can upgrade at any position and choose not to, shame on you. Let the rest play out.
FWIW. I think the Caleb to LSU smoke is real, but faint. USC is 1. And, that's fine - Brennan will be fine.

Would it strike your right if Kelly told reporters in his press conference that fans and administration should take it easy and to give him a few more years because he didn’t recruit the best transfer player in the country because he got Brennan to come back?

LSU has shown you that a qb can win the Heisman, National Championship and 1st overall NFL draft pick...i.e....Joe Burrow...that's what Caleb and his dad are looking for and the last to accomplish this feat is LSU...why is everyone so surprised

It doesn't surprise me that Caleb would be interested in Kelly and LSU. It only surprises me bc we talked Brennan out of the transfer portal. But, I can't fault Kelly for continuing to try improving the roster at all.
