Wise people withhold their predictions until the team is 3-4 games into the season.

Destroying a really shitty team does wonders for fan morale I see.

FSU or Vols was my loss prediction for 7 5. Its not the L or the W at this point of the season that should have more prediction weight. Its how we are playing. During FSU we were able to get rid of jitters and adversity of losing our best player then still play disciplined to the finish with execution dramatically improving. During Southern we saw second and third stringers like Sevion and Welch playing desciplined and consistent. These are things that go a long way in a long season.

true, but I don't really get why people are so into predictions.

There are so many variables in a long season, both with us and our opponents.

Why don't we just watch the games, then we'll know.

Both of our lines didn't impress at all saturday. I am more concerned about our oline after saturday than I was after FSU...but I do think this staff will make them better each game

9-3 isn't "realistic"

Just show improvement throughout the year & pull an upset (or two). It's all about 2023 & beyond IMO

I agree. The end results are what count.

I don’t agree with 9-3 but I don’t agree with this bull shite either. What have you seen Auburn UF and Aggy that you’re positive that we lose those games?

Auburn struggled mightily with San Jose, UF’s offense is worse than ours, Aggy struggled with Sam Houston at times and got embarrassed by App St. Honestly I’d be more worried about Miss St than any of those 3

If the OL and LB play improves each week, 9 wins is possible.

UAB W
New Mexico W
MSU W (If O can beat them in Starkvegas, this team should win at home)
Auburn W
Tennessee W (only because we are at home)
Florida W
Ole Miss W (Kiffin struggles with his QB this year)
A&M W (will be in shambles by season's end)
Arkansas TBD
Alabama TBD

We played both Arkansas and Alabama tough last year with a shitload of opt-outs, injuries and nearly nothing to play for, so I think we can win one of those.

Did you miss all of SEC opponents' games this past weekend?

big ifs there.

Do our opponents improve each week too? Or do they just stay locked where they are, and only we get to improve?

We entered the season with a lot more question marks than any of our opponents: 35-37 new players, complete new staff, etc.

If the answers to those questions are positive, then we have more to build upon week to week than all of our opponents.

Really? I had us at 8-4 and now I'm hoping for 7-5. Too much new. Lost our best defensive lineman. Offensive line will need more time to gel and we will struggle in those games. Hopefully get it together by November when the schedule gets brutal. Lots to overcome.

Did u see our game with Florida State?

Next year 8-4 is a realistic expectation. The 24' season I expect to be in the playoff conversation. 9 wins this year just isn't happening. If Daniel's gets hurt, we won't win 5 games. Feel free to bookmark this.

Actually, with a team like this, in a rebuilding year, crazy shite like that wouldn't be that weird, especially with those three predicted losses being road games.

So is Arkansas, Of those teams I listed, Arkansas is the best team IMO. If he had us beating Auburn and losing to Arkansas, I could buy that.

I'm still targeting 6-6 with a 40% chance of 5-7.

People are putting way too much stock in us hammering a rec team from a few miles up the road.
