You'd get fewer downvotes if
1. People didn't know who you were

2. If you weren't such an arrogant dickface while making your points.

And my response to all of that is simply:

Troy.

You don’t blame a butt ugly loss like that solely on having to play freshmen. Coach has to take SOME blame.

Some.

RIGHT??

For the love of God, this.

Why are you replying to me. I have not said anything about the Troy loss except to say that I was happy with the season AFTER the Troy loss.

You sure seem to be very hungup over one loss.

na man.
how can a lsu coach be expected to take 45 4 and 5 star players and expect to beat a team with zero nfl talent and not a single composite 4 star player.

thank god the rest of the sec outside of Bama, auburn, and uga was garbage or we'd have to hear how 5 or 6 loss season was a satisfying.

Tigeree...

so if there are no major injuries in 2018 is 4 losses acceptable?

yeah downvotes and upvotes are meaningless without knowing who is downvoting and upvoting. we are the only sec team that has an open board.it could be fans of any team upvoting and downvoting.

Seems like his nickname bothers you for some weird reason. This is at least the second time you have brought it up in the last couple of pages. Better get used to it.

To many of his players, he’s “Slinger” — a reference to his quarterbacking days, when he handed off to Charles Alexander and rifled passes to Carlos Carson.

9-3 regular season and a bowl game against Notre Dame.

9-3 regular season and a bowl game loss against Notre Dame. And again, in a year where the schedule was as easy as it had been in decades. And losing a close game to Notre Dame isn't anything to be proud of. Their program hasn't been anything special for a long time.

LSU played over 30 freshmen.

Lots of teams play freshmen. LSU isn't the only program to do it.

Brilliant

Too bad o isn't.

Great outlook for no reason other than to be miserable about something.

I'm not miserable. Just looking at the situation the team is in and being realistic.

quote:

Not too bad of a history at LSU.

Nothing to brag about either. But hey, I realize you only get on the rant to make posts to paint o in a positive light.

A bunch of linemen left the program under o's watch. Your reply, not o's fault.

The team needs a new OC. Your response, o hired the only OC Broyes award finalist.

O fires the OC after one year. Your response, Canada was hard to get along with and o only hired him because Aranda recommended him.

The list and the excuses go on and on.

This year will be no different. Once something goes wrong, you and a few others will be on here blaming everybody under the sun except o for the things that don't work out.

I HATE this argument.. Is its O's fault that the schedule ended up as easy as it did??? Was its O's fault that teams fired their coachesbefore tey played LSU???

However... We lost to teams we should not have and the ND game was A disgrace.... LSU will go 6-6 next year and they WILL Make changes.................

Of course it wasn't his fault. That doesn't make it any less true though.

Damn dukke, we've been over this a hundred times. And I know for a fact that others on the rant have discussed this very thing with you.

It's NOT o's fault that the schedule was Charmin soft last year. It's NOT o's fault that so many teams fired their coaches last year.

IT IS o's fault that we lost 4 games though. He's the fricking head coach. The buck stops with him. He has to should the lion's share of the blame. It comes with the fricking job.

of course you do because you dont understand it.

this has been explained to you by dozens of posters. literally dozens.

link to one person saying O is to blame for the schedule.
he isnt to blane for the schedule.

winning 9 games where 8 wins are against teams with 6 lossed osnt the same as winning 9 games against teams where 8 of your wins came against 4 loss teams

do you understand strength of schedule?

you clearly dont.

But LSU has been great?

List ALL of the teams that played over 30 freshmen, started 12 and had two true freshmen starters on the O-line for the majority of the season.

I was being sarcastic. I figure Eaux is a lot smarter than you.

quote:

I'm not miserable. Just looking at the situation the team is in and being realistic

Like I said, no reason other than to be miserable about something. No one knows how next season will play out.

quote:

A bunch of linemen left the program under o's watch. Your reply, not o's fault.

Didn't say it was anyone's fault. I have no idea if the players saw the writing on the wall or were told of the writing on the wall. It could be that no one is at fault. Some LSU fans just think they have to place blame for everything.

quote:

The team needs a new OC. Your response, o hired the only OC Broyes award finalist.

Brilliant - and I will tell you I am being sarcastic this time so you won't get confused again.

Did Eaux not hire the only offensive Broyes award finalist from the 2016 football season?

quote:

O fires the OC after one year. Your response, Canada was hard to get along with and o only hired him because Aranda recommended him.

And? That was my opinion based on what I read in local and national articles. Did you know Canada coached against him and bought a house from Canada?

quote:

The list and the excuses go on and on

List some others, I'm game. I haven't seen one excuse listed in this (your) post. Hope you do better on the next attempt.

quote:

This year will be no different.

You don't have a clue and this stupid statement proves it.

quote:

Once something goes wrong, you and a few others will be on here blaming everybody under the sun except o for the things that don't work out.

I think you are confused over who jumps in every thread to try to lay blame.

Keep being miserable. There's only 6 more months until the season starts. You can do it !!!
