A blessing? Until this year, the lowest seed a 3-game lead major conference champion (since 1979) has received is five for Arkansas, who won the 1981 SWC title. Yes we tanked at the end of the year, but so did teams like UConn. I thought 6 was a fair seed. Now we have to face a decent Butler team, not a big deal. BUT then we have to play UNC in f*ing Greensboro (btw they're like 35-1 in NCAA games in North Carolina). We got hosed, regardless of how down the SEC is this year. Yes, we should be glad to be in the tourney this year, but we got dicked over. Thanks alot, Slive...douche

Just hope Trent rests the team. They looked tired down the stretch. The Miss. St. OT took alot out of em. I like the seeding. Our OOC sucked. What was Brady thinking? Just hope we get by Butler.

Without our weak OOC schedule, we may not have made it at all. The Tigers needed that early schedule to get comfortable with the new system. It may have hurt to some degree, but it was necessary.

I think it all depends on how #5 comes out to play. If thornton can get established by taking good shots instead of taking too many weak shots, I can see this team accomplishing anything. I wouldn't say beating UNC is a longshot they have lost to a couple of questionable teams this year. First though, we need to concentrate on butler

should be an interesting matchup. i truly believe by pressing the tempo, it could disrupt BUTLER's passive attack. but we have to be careful, they are highly efficient. don't see a blowout but a truly tactical game. if the TIGERS come out, run and gun with some efficiency, it could turn nasty but we need to control the tempo and not play into the dogs game.

Here's how it works. Win on Thursday and you play on Saturday. Win on Friday and you play on Sunday. Been that way forever.

Vernon well said and right on point. Do have to correct you on our OOC though most of this scheedule was made by Johnson not Brady. Its Johnsons fault we played such an easy OOC.

If we beat Butler, we play UNC. I'm in CH as a student, and I think I will catch al kinds of hell if we win that game!!!
