Who's to say they're not the coordinators? Who's to say if they do leave, LSU doesn't replace them with another elite coach, like Kelly literally did hiring them both 2 years ago.

LSU's offensive recruiting is as good as it's ever been.

I hate to say it but I have to concur with either 8-4 or 7-5. Hopefully, Nuss will have a Burrow-like awakening. Also, if JK Johnson and a couple of others in the D backfield suddenly blossom, it could be a bit better. Maybe we'll have a complete TM7 type surprise.

Regardless, we'll need to see a complete paradigm shift on defense if we are to be remotely competitive. I may revise my prediction if CBK makes a defensive coaching move post-bowl.

I think we'll win:

one of USC/UCLA. CBK not known for having the team ready for game 1.

USA
Arkie

Florida

we could easily win all these games above but my hunch is we lose at least one.

End of the day, i think we all know this hinges around the QB position. We won't know until we know. I think Nuss has the ability, it just depends if he shows up with his A-game on opening night or it takes him a half season to get in the groove. Fortunately though, we have a favorable schedule. We could have Florida's! and we don't have to play AU at JHS.
