Then both seasons post-championship were not what you expect at lsu. However the way you build teams now is different. It is year to year, and losing —-> replacing championship players with the same caliber of players, even at lsu, is not always easy. On top of that, you play into mid June and let all other teams get a head start in the transfer portal.

While this year got away from them, I’ll trade a title for a down year every single time. He’ll have it right again next year.

There’s no way this is a serious post. If he kept up what he’s done for the next 10 years he would be considered one of the best coaches in the history of sports.
