72% FT has more to do with LSU losing 3 games than anything else.

Making Free Throws is the problem. If LSU shoots 80% and up they win 2 games of the 3 losses.

Or the turnovers. Or the offensive rebounding. Or, mostly, the 2 to 1 foul differential

Idk what happened to free throw % it really fell off once sec play happened.

With a team that just isn't consistently good on offense you got to make the free ones

Things happen within a game. The ball bounces ways but when you get a free shot you have to make them.

Or the refs....its always the refs.

Am I doing this right?

2-1 fouls is the culprit.

17 more FT attempts for Alabama last game.

Alabama averaged 18 fouls per game in SEC play prior to our game. The ended up with 10 vs us.

72% would be fantastic. We’re not even close to 72% in league play. I don’t think we’ve been over 70% in any game.

There are only 6 teams in the country that shoot 80% or better. 72% may be a bit low but 80% or better is a pretty big ask

If Florida shoots 75% they beat LSU.

FT shooting hasn’t been up to LSU’s usual standards, but EIGHT teams in America shoot 80% or above.

FT shooting needs to be better…but it is not LSU’s biggest problem

IF Pinson and Days were not hurt, LSU would be 5-1/17-1. That's in spite of turnovers, less than 70% FT shooting, and foul differentials.

Until we get both of those players back at 100%, we will have trouble winning games against top half SEC teams.

Our opponents are shooting horrible FT% too. They are just getting literally twice as many

And not making the free throws in SEC action says we can't handle the pressure. Likely even tougher in tournament play.

You can shoot 100%. It won’t matter. Officials will offset it with horse sh#t calls.

THE FIX IS IN!

Yeah, they were excellent with free throws before the SEC started. They need to improve that and the unforced turnovers (way too many walks).

LSU has one player that even shoots above 80%. Do you understand how averages work ?

Please look at box scores before spreading fake news. Foul difference was 3 vs Arkansas and 1 vs Auburn. 2 of our 3 losses.

The box scores in sec play say lsu has 134 fouls and opponents 91 fouls through 6 games. That’s a difference of more than 7 fouls per game called on lsu.

As with any one else these days claiming “fake news” you’re actually the one that’s full of shite.

They aren’t good at shooting period but the FT shooting is bad. Only thing is we hardly ever shoot FT’s otherwise people would be bitching a lot more about it.
