Tiara Young is a surprise. Seay is a grad transfer. Trasi totally disappeared about mid season. Could the players have gotten word that Nikki is gone? Wishful thinking but something is clearly up.

Shaq's younger daughter is supposedly a much better prospect. She is in high school currently.
This program needs a total revamping from the top down.
If Woodward hasn't fired Nikki yet, my guess is that he will let Nikki's contract run out next year. The explanations will include buyout, past academic success, early basketball success in her tenure, Covid year, and other more politically charged reasons, etc.
If Nikki is coach next year, her results will hinge on who she can coax to come back including some seniors (free extra Covid year) and who she can get to transfer here. My guess is that next year will be another hard one to watch.
The next coach will have a big rebuilding project whether it is next year or the following year. With an exciting new coach and the transfer portal, basketball programs can be rebuilt in a year or two. Geaux Tigers!

If Pointer doesn't come back, next year will be a disaster.
I think she will come back....being close with Aunt Nikki she just might take another run at it.
Even with Pointer, squeaking into the NCAA's as like a 10-seed is probably the ceiling. This team is Pointer and a bunch of spare, misfit parts.
Aifuwa coming back would be good, but she needs help in the post. The best stretch of her career came when she was playing alongside Ayana Mitchell. She can't do it all on her own down low.

Well Mingo-Young is headed to Alabama, I figured we didn’t have a shot at her after that incident at the SEC Tournament. I’m surprised she didn’t end up at Baylor or GA Tech I remember seeing Butts at a ton of her game back in HS.
