Ark was ranked #15 in the pre-season coaches poll which they used as rankings for Week 1, but since only a few teams competed in week 1 Ark's score put them in #6 so they're #6 for Week 2.
Things will change once more teams start competing, esp the Pac 12.

Gymnastics rankings are based on scores more than wins and losses.

Haleigh Bryant with the 3rd highest AA score in the nation in her debut in the AA

Hopefully Dunne's ankle is progressing well because she is gonna be a major asset for us on the other events.
They looked like a confident team tonight. You can see the potential with more to expand on.

If you want a comparison think about Finnegan. Finnegan just had class and grace in her routine that I haven’t seen from other competitors. She was flat out gorgeous at everything.
If Bryant develops grace that Finnegan had, then wow.

Thanks for the info TB357. I thoroughly enjoy watching these young ladies perform. I know the basics about scoring but not how to score mistakes. I enjoy reading the post during the meets from people that know more about the scoring
