You're going to have a bunch of people here telling you it's not the same without any reason other than "well... that was a long time ago"
It's just funny watching so many sidewalk LSU fans skyscream about a bad weekend and project that bad weekend on the rest of the season. Meanwhile, the top 10 as a whole got decimated for a second straight weekend.
We have a better chance of winning the whole thing than pretty much everyone in the country.

I have no doubt that if LSU plays Auburn in the postseason, we will skullfrick them. Absolutely zero doubt. But the bigger lesson is that no one series or game makes a season in college baseball.

I was there. Watched Doug warm up, talked to some old guy during the game. The next day he was there and Doug was in the pen. Come to find out it was his dad. ( super nice guy). Point is…. That game was exactly what it was. A team at home just out played the other. Great part about baseball, just because you’re the best team, in one game you can lose. By June, lsu will be hunting for title number 7.
