he brought blitzes from all angles

our RPO and hurry up will nullify BV checks and changes and subs

we will use our option/choice routes by WR's.

Our RPO and option-routes in the passing game should serve LSU well in this one. If Clemson does something unexpected, we have the ability to adjust mid-play and take advantage. An nobody is better at doing that than Burreaux.

This is where Brady is so damn good. Whatever the Clemson D throws at LSU, Brady will recognize it. Then he and Ensminger will adjust and make them pay.
I disagree. Brady is good but he’s not the offensive genius you make him out to be. That credit goes to Ensminger. Brady is great with the overall offensive scheme but is still learning on the job. The adjustment brilliance is mostly Ensminger and his experience, discussing with Brady, IMO, in more of a teaching roll. Brady is good, excels as a coach, and will be great.

the route running by Clemson was intentional.

They ran short routes all game long with an emphasis on safety valves and check downs to counter Chase Young.

If they reverted back to the UVA game playcalling, Trevor Lawrence would’ve been on his arse even more so.

To say Venables is aggressive is an understatement. His gameplan vs OSU was straight up wreck-less and arrogant. No matter the results.

Venebles gets away with so much it’s infuriating. But here’s the thing, it usually works.

His philosophy seems to be that college level O-lines and Qbs aren’t good enough to handle high risk blitz packages on a regular basis.

He’s the most high risk/high reward defensive coordinator in the game. Reminds me of Rob Ryan.

Burrow/Brady/E will have to diagnose post-snap, because everything will be disguised pre-snap.

Clemson’s defensive scheme screams desperation. It’s like Venables has been playing chess against newbie players. OSU was amateur and LSU will are THE masters of that game. ....proven all year!

that is why we have RPOs and option/choice routes for receivers.

They didn't show out against Ohio State and I'll take our secondary over theirs everyday.

Our O line will keep Burrow upright, no matter what Clemson does. And that means we win big, end of story. 48-28

That's some in depth analysis right there! How many times did you watch the Clemson-OSU game to come up with that?

So you're saying guest offensive coordinator is les miles and we're gonna run it down their throats?

Weird.

I figured our heisman QB was important

Trevor can make plays out of nothing, but not often enough. Clemson's screen game is serious. I am sure we have a plan. The Wisconsin QB ran all over OSU in the first 1/2, so Trevor being able to run should not be a surprise. OSU LB's play was atrocious. Their tackling was bad as well. Our defense can hold these guys to 3 scores. Our offense will score 8 times.

OSU O-line dominated Clemson in the run game.

I've been thinking ever since that game that a healthy CEH would have a field day running the ball against Clemson.

Joe Burrow will have some running opportunities, too.

I don’t know whether or not this is true, but if it is, #9 is the worst possible matchup he could ever imagine.
