Idk who he is so I can't pass judgment. Hope he's a good one & can recruit well.
We really need to play the game to get better.

re: Rewatched the Bama game

Complaining about the defense? Alabama was stacked with playmakers on both sides of the ball. They are going to step up and make plays, we can only help to contain them and the defense did just that.
After watching the toughest games that Clemson played, I could not identify any way that Clemson could win, unless we imploded. Which we looked like we were doing on our first two possessions.
Championship score of 42 matches Coach O's contract. Man, Chase should have caught that TD and we should have started faster.
Chase Young was great against the worst OT"s in the Big Ten. Dropped off the map against Michigan and Clemson.
Kadron Boone, Russel Shepard, Deangelo Peterson, James Wright, Dillon Gordon, Brandon Harris, Trey Quinn, Malachi Dupre, Desean Smith. Here is easy to use website with rosters: SRCFB
Coach O is doing something that every coach in America fears. And it goes like this: Coach O is recruiting the skill players of Louisiana, keeping them home and unleashing them. He lets them play football the way they play it in the playgrounds of the boot state. Aggressive, fun, playful, above the rim, with a killer instinct. Les Miles was keeping most of the talent home, but he kept them tamed within a system that stunted their development. Hold on tight!
The Alabama game should have been a 26 point win, but that is only if we don't make mistakes. I am very aware that we should expect 3-4 big mistakes per game in college. So it's fine we did not win by 26, but that would have been nice.
The only way to beat Alabama is with an NFL ready QB, seniors on the defensive line, tons of veterans and an above-average running back and strong CB play.
Fields missed all of his throws and every read excluding the one swing pass to Dobbins on the left side that was money.
In the Texas game, two-three of the Texas TD's were contested but our DB was just a little slow to react or made a bad move. Plus our defense would suffocate Texas now and would not make the same mistakes.

He will need to step up and be the man for this game. Clemson is going to try and take away Chase and Jefferson and bet that Marshall drops a few.

Clemson Versus Louisville 2019

This game and the UVA game were the toughest for Clemson. Louisville defense kept Clemson in check for 2.5 quarters. The score was 10-3 with 30 seconds left in the first half. Watch the game and see how it's fairly easy to slow Clemson down with the right players. We have those players: Link To Game On Youtube.

Louisville's offensive play is horrid and so is the offensive coaching. The QB missed on wide-open throws over and over again.
Trevor can make plays out of nothing, but not often enough. Clemson's screen game is serious. I am sure we have a plan. The Wisconsin QB ran all over OSU in the first 1/2, so Trevor being able to run should not be a surprise. OSU LB's play was atrocious. Their tackling was bad as well. Our defense can hold these guys to 3 scores. Our offense will score 8 times.

First, great breakdown. Second, have you noticed our output has skyrocketed on turf? LSU the greatest show on turf. Let's play focused, be patient, catch the ball and move the chains and score TDs.
Up until this year, Alabama gets it done by playing mistake-free ball. The opponent is unable to maintain their focus for 60 minutes. They make the clutch plays, they don't turn it over and they are mentally tough. Clemson plays the same way. LSU 2019 plays the same way.
Everyone is sleeping on this defense. I bet Dabo is carrying two terds in his britches.

Their team speed is surprising. The WR's catch everything. The QB has a nice arm. This Auburn defense looks completely lost. I have never seen so many wide-open offensive players. WTF?
Bama is fielding their 2nd string today on both sides of the ball. Lots of guys are out and Mac Jones is average.
