Never thought I’d see a lane kiffen team balk at the opportunity to finish a game on 4th and 1. Just strange.

Yeah as a Kentucky fan, he seemed skittish all night. I think in some way Stein got in his head.

Agreed. I was already calling the game when we completed 9 yards to set it up. I was thinking here comes the creativity again to end it. NOPE

Les Miles would have put helmets on helmets and told them it’s big boy time-

Physicality in football can’t be overstated

Last night CLM would have told CLK to find his chest.

Yep, really hard to beat Kentucky when the refs have already decided they’re going to win

Worst part is he was going to go for it on 4th and one from his own 28 earlier in the second half, but from his own 40 to literally win the game he decides “nah”.

Stein was the better coach and it wasn't close.

Yeah. He even said after the A&M game the “they didn’t bring us here to not be aggressive in that situation”. It should be your identity. I don’t care if you don’t make it. At least go down being yourself.

He got way too cute that last series. We have a bruising back that is made for those moments and instead he chooses two QB runs? Foolish.

Not going for that 4th is going to haunt him for a while.

Not getting it wasn’t the end of the world either. There was 1:40 ish on the clock, field goal range was likely going to happen regardless.

He also had to have known that Stein was going to go for two, he should have done it as well.

Imagine how the players feel that the coach didn’t have enough faith in them to make one yard

We’re at the point of the melt where we have forgotten Les’s last 7-8 years of coaching at LSU

Pathetic excuse.

It is hard to beat Kentucky though when you don’t have a good football team and your coach does dumb shite too

He didn't develop the last few quarterbacks well and he had trouble getting plays in quickly.

His teams never got out-physicaled.

Yeah he was really good especially with the time out after the false start.

That’s the issue I have. Make some really questionable decisions deep in your own territory and then don’t do it when you’re closer to the 50.
