Hell no. The jersey number stuff needs to stop. Like everything else it has been watered down and doesn’t mean what it once did. Example is Giles #7. The only jersey number that is still worthy is Chucky Mullins number #38 at Ole Miss

Great idea. the other posters don't understand that there are things that are bigger than bucks and that he isn't throwing away money, he's delaying gratification. The younger generations have no idea of the concept.

I think he is what made 40 special. Serious questions, how long do you have to wait to retire a jersey in the stadium? Not eliminate the number from use, but have it up like the rest.
