2011 - Beckham, Landry, La'el, Hilliard, Magee, Mett, Freak

The 2012 team had all these players plus Eric Reid, Alfred Blue, Spencer Ware, Bennie Logan, Kevin Minter, Barkevious Mingo, Sam Montgomery, Lamin Barrow, Kwon Alexander, Jeremy Hill, Jalen Mills, Deion Jones, Trai Turner, Vadal Alexander, and Danielle Hunter.

Not sure why Terrace Magee is listed however.

just noting the "talent" differences between the 2010 and 2011 teams. Magee was a freshman in '11.

2011 LSU and Bama teams were the most talented teams in college football ever. They could have beaten any other college team ever. Those two defenses were just fricking nasty. If you had given either team a QB like either of the Mannings or Trevor Lawrence or Tua and any other in that range, they would have crushed any college team ever by 4 TDS or better.

If Devin White came back i would have to put 2019 up there, even though hey haven’t proven it.

2006 and 2011 are easily the two most talented teams in school history.

If I had to pick a third, it wouldn’t be 88 or 97 or 69 or 58. It would probably be 2005 or 2007.

Lol, you completely left out any teams that won or competed for national titles after 2001. Wtf? Yeah, the 2001, 1988, and 1969 teams were the most talented teams in LSU history. Holy shite some people just can't help themselves.

Even though the 2011 LSU team didn't finish their business like they should have, they were one of the most talented teams in LSU history. Just look at that team's roster and the ridiculous amount of talent we had EVERYWHERE, and deep too. That was the demise of miles. He didn't understand the magnitude of that rematch vs Bama in the natty. Saba fully understood and we didn't even show up on offense. That was the game that did miles in, bc the fan base was furious after that game and the shitshow we put on the field on offense with the talent we had. Miles lost a huge part of the fan base after that game and never got them back due to his own stupidity in the coming seasons. Had that 2011 team won the natty and went undefeated, there could have been a serious debate whether or not they were the best team of all time in college football. Just look at the schedule we played, who we beat, and the scores by which we beat them. That team was special and les just couldn't get out of his own way in the title game. Horrible game plan on offense and once it was clear that Bama was shutting it down, he didn't even try anything else. Will piss me off for the rest of my life, bc I just don't understand how you continue to do the same shite knowing they were coached well to shut it down. That team had the talent to do anything we wanted on offense and didn't change shite. In all honesty, that 2011 team was probably the best team ever at LSU, and one of the best in ncsa history as well. Too bad our coaching staff wasnt as talented as the team was. Geaux tigers.

Billy Cannon would get cut from the 2019 squad

Not sure if serious.

Billy Cannon would not only NOT get cut, he would be a star. You need to do your homework on Cannon's size, power, speed and vision before you post anything else. Please let us know when you've completed your assignment and want to post again.
