Kim HAS to get some shooters in the portal. What good is tough defense if you can’t pay it off on the other end? Tennessee couldn’t make a shot today in the first half and never recovered. Defense is all about effort. There’s a whole lot more skill in putting the ball in the basket.

Won’t be a portal heavy year unless she boots a couple players. Got 4 freshmen coming in to replace 4 seniors leaving.

If feel like this is a common trend along with men’s basketball every year. Never have good enough pure shooters. Especially from the 3 point line.

LSU sure knows how to find them some average at best shooters

Too many long 2’s attempted. LSU is hitting 16-16’ jumpers off the dribble. Need to make those 3’s off the pass

UCLA made 5 three pointers in the first three NCAA games. Made 10 fricking three pointers today.

HVL was a turnover machine , and so slow she couldn’t guard my 54 year old self!

Our lack of spacing doesn’t allow us to generate as many 3s as other teams.

This isn’t a knock on anyone. Just the trade offs of the system we run.

We are playing a team that is 33-2. They have a 6-7 uh, lady. We have a really good team. The biggest problem in this game was Gilbert taking 5-6 late shots. A couple of missed calls late didn’t help. I felt elite 8 was the best we could hope for.

I am hearing LSU is expecting to clear 2-3 spots in addition to open scholarships

Our fans have really turned into garbage over the last several months. Admin needs to do something to purge some of these overly emotional/low intellect posters......and I'm sure there are some that are just trolls.

This is comical calling her a bum basically. She was an all-american before coming to LSU, and an all-american after leaving LSU...hmmmm....with 2 different teams no less, with huge results in the NCAA Trny as her team's leader.

There are threads calling Kim Les Miles 2.0...when she has won 4 natties as a head coach...and has her team in the elite 8 every year at least. They were missing a true PG and a rim protector, and still played the #1 seed (the team that beat South Carolina by 20+) in the tourney very tough.

Then there are threads asking for Beth to be fired...when last I looked, even with the loss today, LSU is still in 1st place in the SEC in the loss column.

Just blows my mind how absolutely emotional and stupid a large part of this board is becoming. YOU are up there with them too.

I could see getting a few others out too that don't contribute. We have a great class coming in, and hopefully can get flauje to come back. We desperately need a PG and rim protector. Looking forward to the new class coming in...but need a couple out of the portal.

I'm guessing Del Rosario is gone.

Yet she’s still playing and we are going back to the boot.

ADR and perhaps Jersey. Neither bring anything to the table.

No the 2nd quarter when Betts was out was the difference in this game. When Betts is out a whole quarter and our best players still couldn’t get going and we reverted to the perimeter defense we were playing in Jan and Feb….that’s why we lost. We basically played them even in the 2nd half with Betts in there even with the fouls we had to commit at the end. You can’t let them have life in the 2Q…..had to go for the kill there and we couldn’t get it done.

Out of 7 players who attempted 100 shots, she was the only one who shot under 42% (Poa's average last year), she shot just under 38%. We had 3 players attempt at least 100 threes. HVL was the worst 3pt % out of her, Mikayla and Flaujae.

HVL was not a great shooter for us. The only thing she did last year was take shots away from players who are better than her.
