The 2 crucial drive killing drops by Lacy
And the selfish bad read by Daniels resulting in a fumble scoop and score.

If these 3 plays went in our favor, we win this game even with how bad the defense played

If ifs and buts were candies and nuts we’d all have a merry Christmas.

We did not win the edge on offense or defense

I don't think Daniels is selfish

Just a bad read

What about the dropped td pass by Jenkins?

Defense was not great. Poor tackling and the line got pushed around. Also, Muhammad went of on us all night. Certainly not just the offense that cost us this game.

what about two scoring drives halted by the refs? one at end of half where pick up the flag on PI that would have had us in FG range and the other when they call holding on JD run?

Being out-coached and unprepared costs us that game.

THREE scores taken away by blatant officiating. One was a TD.

You're delusional....A&M was simply the better team.....our defense got run over.......it was WAY more than "three plays"......

Plus 2 egregious drive ending calls. The PI that was picked up before the half, and the hold that negated Daniels' first down run on the drive after the scoop and score. We never recovered after the latter.

Wondering if a few of you turned the tv off when LSU’s defense was on the field?

Selfish? Weird take. Guy is trying to win and has to make decisions in 100ths of seconds at a speed 99% on this board cannot comprehend.

We would likely have score TD’s on both drives that Lacy choked and we a clear momentum shift when Daniels fricked up. We score on all those possessions and the Aggies fold, wouldn’t have mattered how bad the defense played.
They could not stop our offense up until Daniels fricked up

Actually, any three of SIX plays cost the game.

The two Lacy drops and the scoop and score which was a terrible decision by Daniels were three of them.

But you also had the pass interference call when the guy climbed over Jenkins' back, and that turned what would have been a first down at around the A&M 40, meaning all we needed was one more first down and we'd have been in field goal range, into a 3rd and 15 on the other side of midfield. Three points to answer their TD late in the 2nd quarter would ultimately play pretty big in that game.

Then you had the phantom holding call on Emory Jones, which turned a huge run into an impossible 3rd and 20 at midfield. We would have had a first down in the red zone but for that penalty and almost certainly would had gotten at least three points and very likely seven.

And finally, there was the dropped TD by Jenkins in the end zone after he'd caught it. Inexcusable not to hold on to that ball. Yes, you could argue we got screwed on the call by the officials, but it's his responsibility not to allow them to screw us and he blew it.

We aren't good enough to beat SEC teams with our B game barring a bailout by somebody like Ojulari or Perkins. Nobody bailed us out last night and we aren't talented enough to survive a B-game performance on the road in the league.

Kelly did a hell of a job with this team. But he's going to need to shake that roster down a bit this offseason as well. Maybe we don't need 15 guys from the portal like we brought in last offseason, but we'll need a good seven or eight for sure.

Which one was it? Selfishness or a bad read? A bad read isn't selfish
He makes the right read much of the time. He's not selfish. He made a bad read. Choose your words better

I totally agree with everything you said but that was a hold on Emory and he did not even need to hold. His hands were on the outside and they should have been on the inside. Bottom line is the team was not ready to play and that falls on both coaching and the players.

The hold had no affect on the play, JD was 10 yds outside of the tackle box. If they were going to call ticky tack holding penalties then they very well could have called it on numerous A&M outside runs including the first touchdown.
