Wtf does that have to do with the talent he's inherited and how he underachieved last year based on overall roster talent? And what does your comment have to do with the fact that this shows anything less than 10 wins this year is a disappointment?
It's not an attack on Eaux it's just a roster grade based on recruiting rankings. The wins and losses speak for themselves. Nobody needs to prop up or tear down Eaux here. Just focus on the results last season and at the end of this year and we can evaluate where he's got this thing going

Did you read the rest of his post "...where most of our good players were Freshmen and in some cases, sophomores."

I think everyone eventually decided on 10-2. I can't tell you how many dumb threads were started about how if we weren't in there playoffs then people that thought 10-2 was acceptable that they were "the problem".
OP... Yes. We have tons of talent. Let's hope the coaches can continue to get the most out of them.

even more reason why this list is pointless.
It's hard to say the list is pointless when the teams at the top of these lists are the teams constantly in the playoffs and playing for championships. That's not just a coincidence.

You've got to have a link to at least one of these threads. We'd love to see it.

And Alabama, UGA, tOSU and Clemson...I mean...
Oklahoma might not be high up on the lists, but, they are very high up against the competition they compete with as well (B12).

Notice the the sentence that you quoted... most of our GOOD players were underclassmen. Good. Players.

You're smarter than this, I hope.

Point is, you don't simply beat teams because you are ranked ahead of them on this list. It offers no context. Most importantly, age of your roster.

You're telling us any team ranked above another should beat that team. Is that not what you said in your first post?
Did You leave teams like USC and FSU and Tenn (13

Talent is certainly a prerequisite to being elite, though. No list is perfect, but it's a great starting point.
You can have talent and stink (FSU, Tennessee); but you cant have little talent and be elite and make the playoffs.

Chark? Guice? Jackson? Lac? Brumfield?
I'll give you White, Greedy, Lawrence and Delpit, but if our upperclassman were so bad, why couldn't our talented underclassmen beat them out?

I don’t believe UGA and USC have more talent than LSU.
You're entitled to believe what you want but you are dead arse wrong...especially about UGA!

This has been a mystery here for over a decade, it's not new. Part of it has to do with intangibles beyond raw talent

Well there is one reason and it's not players or talent. I'm sure if you think you'll get it.

my beef with the OP is not the list itself, its the author alluding to the point that we should beat every team behind us in this list simply because we are higher on this list.

No, my first post was to show that talent cannot be used as an excuse for not winning 10 games this year.
Again, I hope you're smarter than this.

Coaches like accountability & maturity.
For instance go back to last year, Lacatoure vs Tyler Shelvin. Etling vs any of our FR QB. Gage over most of our WR corps. Could do this all day. Sometimes young players just aren't ready. It doesnt mean they aren't more talented.
why did Greedy Williams redshirt? Why didnt Devin White start as as FR....on and on
