How can someone prove these actually came from another coach and not the journalist?

We shall see. I’m guessing it’ll be a lot of shifts, motions, jet sweeps, and shovel passes, since that’s what he ran his whole time as on OC.

Why is this anchored? It isn't a pay article?

I'm the gullible one yet you're able to immediately dismiss this article as nonsense? Love your hypocrisy Les.

I know that no real coach has the time to dissect what coach O is doing at lsu & the comments come off that way. Like he’s been there for years or something. Players leaving & poor recruiting classes, lack of talent. I mean those are pretty silly takes & judgement on someone that has been on the job for 1 season.

Incredibly organized? OK

I think you need to read again what I said. If you can find where I said he was incredibly organized you get a gold star. Clearly your reading comprehension is off today.

My exact quote was:

His attention to detail seems to be a little more advanced then I thought

Thought for sure this is would be his weak spot & it still may be, who knows. I don’t know how that interprets are incredibly organized but ok guy.

quote:

don't think Canada was ever given the green light to truly run his offense as hew saw fit Lester, no

What other games other than Troy did you think this? Even vs Troy we saw his jet sweeps. And down the line most plays were ran off some type of option motion. Exactly how he explained he would do it

they lose two NFL running backs and four offensive linemen, and Steve Ensminger is going to lead them to the promised land?

Players leave. That happens. Not a coach's fault. But leaving EARLY? We'll see if he can't start to reverse that trend a little. And good job, anonymous coach, waiting to see if Ensminger has any effectiveness.
quote:

By all accounts, Orgeron micro-managed Canada and wanted LSU's scheme ran his way, which is why the offense tumbled as a result.

By rumors, you mean. But it was disappointing at times. It also had its moments. Give an offense more than one year of implementation and get back to me. Especially with it being the HC's first full year. NB4 "No transition period"--it was what it was, and it was a transition year.

quote:

LSU doesn't have the talent or the depth they used to have. I'm not sure what's happened in recruiting, but they've lost some really good players to out-of-state schools.

See above on the first sentence. Oh, and we actually do have depth now, just not at every position. Credit O for filling the spots we needed. And yea to the rest; we all know that, and that's why O has started to focus on "putting up the wall." We'll see how well it ultimate turns out. Oh, and let's remember Surtain misleading us definitely cost us a recruiting ranking spot or two.
quote:

This team remains talent-rich, but development is becoming an issue, which falls on the staff."

Again, tell us something we haven't known for over half a decade. Second full year, and the gloves are off on O.

quote:

At LSU, if they get eight wins, don't try to spin it like it's a good year, not while the guy in Tuscaloosa is winning 12 or 13.

Damn straight. We're here to win. "We comin'," as it were. 10+ wins or bust.

Some of these comments are correct; some state the obvious or echo generic complaints. Either way, this is going to be the defining year on where we are and where we go. There are so many unknowns as far as player development, scheme, and just looking like we know what we're doing--if we have an articulable plan. We should either be trending up or looking for our new direction (coach) at the end of the year.

It’s just funny to see this after O turned in our best conf record in 4-5 years.

Best? No. He tied what Miles was doing while Miles was sleepwalking.

He also got beat down by TROY and MOO U!

Miles failed to win 6 conf games in his last 4 seasons.

Not sure your point but you’re wrong

This is such BS and some of people on this site just playing along. Doesn't surprise me! Look say what you want, hate him or love him but O is making some really good moves and setting us up nicely for the fall. The jury is still out and no one knows how this season will go. But these so called anonymous coaches are such little Debbies! What coach with any due respect for himself would hide behind a report and bash another coach? No one I would call a real man! Jimbo? LOL

There wasn’t any high level analysis in any of those comments. Are they interviewing assistant strength coaches?

Painful - very very painful sitting in that stadium surrounded by AL fans being numb by start of 2nd quarter realizing we had NO chance.
