LSU has already booked hotels in Arkansas for Thanksgiving weekend.

Ole Miss game should always be the weekend closest to Halloween. Ridiculous when its not.

Arkansas and Aggie should always be our last two games. Arkansas on the Friday after Thanksgiving is just right

This is probably the date for Texas-OU. Maybe swap the Ms St and Texas dates?

We've been playing the LSU Olemiss game The last weekend of sept for a couple of years. It used to be closer to halloween but now we get halloween weekend as a bye then play bama first weekend of nov.

That's a nice looking home schedule. Bama, Texas, A&M, Clemson.
With a 9 game schedule will it be 5 home and then 5 away the next year?

time to implement two byes every year. That's a lot before the bama bye.
The college football calendar would have to change. Right now, Week 1 of the college football season is always Labor Day weekend. In years when Labor Day is before the first Saturday in September, the college football season has an extra week in the regular season and is 14 weeks long, not counting Week 0, which is the third Saturday in September. That's why we've had two open dates the last two years.
Next year, Labor Day is after the first Saturday in September. So the college football regular season only has 13 regular-season weeks, which only leaves room for one open date.

Didn’t Moscona say Ole Miss game was in November? Not saying what he says is 100% correct
Posted on 12/11/25 at 3:32 pm to Whodattiger14
I've heard November is Bama, Texas, @Tennessee, @Arkansas

Mascona has seen the schedule and just said “you’re not going to want to miss November next year”

It would be amazing if they took the opportunity to schedule a game on Halloween night since it falls on Saturday. But it’s the weekend before said possible Alabama game weekend so assuming it will be a by weekend

Seems like the perfect opportunity to revive the Battle for the Rag. It was last game of the season for almost 100 years.
One Lane Vs Tulane, print the shirts.
