Chambliss has been at OM since 4/2025 and this was his first season? He was a backup till Simmons got hurt. So I'm not worried about a new QB having to learn the system and I don't think the decision should be based on him playing in Lane's system. Chambliss picked it up quickly as a backup and was able to run it when Simmons got hurt. At best Chambliss can be here for 1 season.
Got get the best QB that can have at least 2 seasons here. Chambliss learned the system and you get the best and smartest QB out there. You can't handicap your portal selection hoping that Chambliss gets extended.
