I think chicken encouraged everyone to start their own thread on opening day lineups. Any without shane youman are worthless

I’d be shocked if Milazzo is on the bench on Starting Day 2024.

I have fond memories of going to starting day as a kid.

Nope. And if that's an attempt at the batting order, that's off too.

That may be where he is on Opening Day though.

I don't know about shocked, but I'd prob put it at over 50% he does start opening day. Regardless, I think we're gonna have a lot of catcher rotation this year just like last year. It was obviously clutch having 3 legit catchers as all 3 were injured at various points in the year. Technically trav was the only one of the 3 left by the end of the season.

I think last year Johnson had Neal playing so much partly BC he was playing well but mostly to try to load up on experience before the meat of the schedule. Unfortunately he got hurt right about the time we got to that point. Regardless I doubt we see one catcher get significantly more reps than the other unless performance or injuries dictates. I also question Neals health so he may be light duty for a while anyway.

I think you do see one get significantly more than the other unless injuries dictate otherwise, just like last season.

Jared Jones needs to show he can hit any pitch that moves on a vertical plane before he is anointed that.

Its weird because we all look forward to it, and its usually against some shite team, and means very little in the ling run. Then, after opening weekend the crowds die down big time until sec play

It is, that’s why I said it. Those 3 will average 335 with 15 HRs if they stay healthy

I was just making a starting day joke, but for real, I love opening day even when we're playing Bryant or Air Force or whoever in a 30 degree windchill.

If Jones averages .335 we're going undefeated.

if Brown is batting second that is something else but I dont see Bingham, a .360 hitter, that far down in the lineup.
