Two national championships and a Heisman winner! Watching JD5 was grand. Looking forward to Malik breaking the yards record, so it's not over!
Lots of folks are concentrating on some of the football negatives, but for myself, I've gotten a LOT of enjoyment out of this past year.

Then those two baseball players went #1 & #2 in the June baseball draft.

We really should take a step back and acknowledge how incredible our athletic department is.
Very few schools are on our level in terms of athletics across the board.

I guess the athletics gods demanded a sacrifice so we offered up the men's hoops program

Pretty cool we had the nations best players in both football and baseball in a span of 6 months.

Man, still can't fathom. If we had a mediocre would likely be in college football defense and quite possibly national championship.
Three NC in second year of head coach.
Still haven't seen an apology from Kelly or House yet. Having a defense ranked mid 50s is not too much to ask for is it?

Wrong thread for this. Make your own to be Debbie Downer.

Hate to be that guy but I really wish the academic achievements at LSU were in the same galaxy as our athletic achievements! I blame all of us that demand our sports team be number one but give zero F@&$ about academics! Yes I’m drinking and about to fall of my soap box!

Take this over to the bitchin board. We soaking in our 2023 sports successes not taking lectures on Academics.

It’s about football not academics any more. These are paid professional athletes. Academics are secondary and everybody knows it so let’s stop pretending.

Completely agree. I still am pinching myself over the CWS. What a fantastic series.

You can get a high quality education at any state school if that’s your goal. You get out of it what you put into it. LSU is no different.

Geez. Pass out soon.
