They are the ones that have otherwise exhausted their eligibility. Everyone but this year’s true freshmen will get an extra year if they choose to use it. Beck and George used theirs this past season.

Crews has reported to summer league and is batting 2nd behind Pearson tonight.
I think the other guys in the Florida league have also reported.
Luke Leto and Ian Moller are at the draft combine currently. It’s why Leto hasn’t reported for summer ball yet.
Brant Smith has really heated up recently. He’s raised his average quite a bit and is getting extra base hits.

Where'd you get the lineup for the Florida League? Interested who is playing which positions.

I have most of their stat pages linked in the original post of this thread. All the pointstreak leagues are easy. The others I could only link team stats.

I haven't found anything on the subject but July 1st for the portal would be a little unfair. Like Nickolas said we don't even know which players will make it through the draft. I'm thinking new coaches would need time to evaluate their own rosters and talk to players on the former team about joining the new coach as well. Some time after fall practice would make more sense.

As far as position players, it depends on who makes it to campus...but probably so. As far as weekend rotation guys, probably not...but we may not be done with incoming arms.

Jason Bollman is now showing on the roster for the State College Spikes in the draft league. He will be in his 4th year in college when he gets to campus, but will be a sophomore I believe.
