Shocked wilson wasnt on top of it.
Maybe he is retiring with Paul

I noticed he followed the new coach on Twitter, so I'm assuming he isn't. Unfortunately.

I don’t think Wilson is a bad person. I think he is absolutely terrible at his job. He came from UGA where baseball means nothing and he seems to know very little about what the sports reader is looking for. He writes like he wants to be Nicholas Sparks. It’s the cringiest shite I’ve ever read. Not hating on The Notebook. Ryan Gosling is fabulous. But I don’t need that in my sports stories.

Oh I agree, I'm sure he's a very nice guy. I miss Luke Johnson.

Delly started our shaky for sure. But he grew into it. He did his job by posting what he needed to post and sharing it on social media. He set the bar for the bare minimum and Luke ran with it. Delly wasn’t a sports guy per se. He had background but in SWAC. He grew on me throughout the year. They gave him football and thrived. Luke was another level. You could tell he loves the job and the interactions. His stories are A+.

Any thoughts on what our line up could look like next year? I know nothing about the incoming freshman and who may have a shot to start out of them.

C - I know Johnson seems to be a hitting coach? Maybe he is able to get Millazo up to speed? Any incoming freshman that could unseat Millazo. I wouldn’t mine Travinski, if he can play a decent catcher.

1st - I’d imagine Morgan holds this down? Any chance Johnson tries to move him to the outfield? Maybe Beloso can turn things around under Johnson?

2nd - I really hope Arnold takes this spot and runs with it. Kid is very close to being a 5 tool player, he has a great skill set. I’ve seen the Simon named mentioned at 2nd. Anyone else we should look for here?

SS - I like Thompson and think he is going to have a great career at LSU. I do have some concerns though, he kicked the ball around a little at the end of the year and his bat tailed off. Any new comers that could slide in here? I wouldn’t mind seeing Arnold here too, if he can play a good SS.

3rd - I’m assuming Doughty will get drafted and not be back? Any chance Bianco could slide in here? He feels like a 3rd baseman to me. Who else could we see here? Hellmers? Haha, jokes.

OF - I’m assuming Gio will be back and obviously Crews will hold down RF. Any incoming Freshman that might make an impact in the OF? I’d love for Sanford or Drost to run away with a position.

Feels like there are gonna be too many moving pieces to really get a handle on this yet. Doughty should be back though. Dugas will be interesting

I’m hopeful Milazzo can improve as well. Need him to up his on-base to 300 or just slightly above. I have no hope for the Travinski defensively. He couldn't even catch a fastball at times

Morgan should be tried in the OF. His 1B defense was overrated *ducks* but that bat plays. Beloso’s doesn’t

Arnold drastically needs to improve his ability to get on base. A 320 OBP with bad defense doesn’t cut it. Not in the SEC

Doughty isn’t draft eligible.

P - We need some veteran arms. Whether that comes from unlikely returnees or transfers, I don't know. I'd feel much more comfortable with another veteran arm or 2, regardless.

C - If we get 1 of the 2 recruits in, we're probably fine here. They will push Milazzo and Travinski. If both of the recruits sign, we may need to get a transfer. I would absolutely take Arizona's catcher, not matter what.

IF - I think we're fine with what we have here and coming in already. You don't say no to Jacob Berry if he wants to come, though.

OF - I think we're fine here, too.

It's already going to be crowded - if JJ starts bringing in transfers or his own recruits, guys will have to be processed.

Travenski won’t be healthy until midway through the season next year.
