WIthout a normal college football season next fall, it's going to be a nightmare financially.
Hopefully they can pull off a basketball tournament this season

think people are trying to equate playing in the stadium and playing in the actual "Rose Bowl"

I think you’re wrong. I think fans (myself) are excited about stomping Chip Kelly’s arse in picture perfect weather on Labor Day weekend after a hot arse summer

I was in LA last year for the Saints-Rams game. It happened to be the same weekend OU was in town to play UCLA and the OU fans bought a ton of tickets and found out as they approached the Rose Bowl that there were many many free tickets.
Don’t purchase tickets too early.

Get ready to be underwhelmed by UCLA fans and the venue. The weather will more than likely be perfect though!

ucla fans will be shite, they usually are. The stadium is not the best for viewing a game, but if its a late afternoon game you will get a magnificent view of the san gabrial mountains and a beautiful sunset.

Plenty of things to do and make a 5 day trip out of it. I think its laughable people saying they wouldnt set foot in that "shithole" state because they dont like the politics of roughly 60% of the population. Yet they live in a state that has a governor with the same "shithole" policies.

I am a huge political guy, but I dont go on vacation worried about the politics. I go to relax, have a good time, see historical sites etc. Live a little

the irony is those saying they would never step foot in that shithole state, couldn't afford to go to this game anyways.

I live in that “shithole” state. Besides it being expensive and full of traffic ... if you call this a “shithole” than Louisiana is a shite crater.

yea i mean it has some negatives, but overall is one of the best states in the union, especially if not living there. Most beautiful state in the country for sure.

Perfect? Try possible 95-100 degrees in the middle of the day. Not perfect. Hope there are no fires, riots, protests, etc...

Compton and Watts are miles from the coliseum. Try South Central LA.

So if those that haven't been to the Rose bowl for a game its definitely a fun venue. Tailgating is done on a golf course. Yes a golf course. They park the cars on the fairways, and you are setup right there. The Greens are off limits, but its pretty cool to party barefoot on some well manicured fairways, and under the shade of some large trees. San Diego Alums have already started a ticket / tailgate list so its on our radar for sure. When UGA was out here they took over, I'm sure LSU should have pretty damn good numbers too. When LSU baseball played in the regional out here a few years back, Westwood / Santa Monica bars were shocked by the amount of LSU. 1/2 the UCLA people had not a clue why there were so many of us, and that UCLA was hosting a regional tourney.

They have every advantage USC does except theyre in the middle of Brentwood and Beverly Hills as opposed to Compton and Watts. One is surrounded by barb wire, one is surrounded by perfect Asian girls, and the one with bullet holes in the walls is the one with all the titles.
The USC neighborhood has been heavily gentrified in recent years.

Sorry you are a short sighted loser.

I'm MAGA as they come but have been to CA several times. It's beautiful.

Enjoy your trip to Orange Beach though.

I guess it might depend heavily on the election, but with the clowns out west, what are the odds LSU gets to make their first trip to Rose Bowl Stadium with fans at the start of the 2021 season?

I'll be there while you're typing away

If USC doesn’t have a home game that day, you will probably see a lot of Trojans there to root on the Tigers.

If things stay as scheduled USC plays San Jose State that day at home.
