That’s a crap game. I would rather watch LSU smash fucla if it weren’t such a pain in the arse to get in and out of the Rosebowl

I think people are trying to equate playing in the stadium and playing in the actual "Rose Bowl"

I don't think anyone is really saying that but I do think it would be disappointing to finally go to the stadium and have empty seats and UCLA painted at midfield. The actual Rose Bowl game is on my bucket list should LSU ever get to go.

With my luck it will be this year...

This was the point I was going for. As cool as it is, it is not the Rose Bowl.

I guess it might depend heavily on the election, but with the clowns out west, what are the odds LSU gets to make their first trip to Rose Bowl Stadium with fans at the start of the 2021 season?

You're a frickin idiot.

It’s an updated Jerry’s World. It’s nice, but nothing about it would make a great college stadium.

I gotta be honest, it looks nicer than Jerry World, but I meant that it would be cool to play one individual early season game/bowl game there.

I hope all this covid shite is history by next season

It will be. We have 5 vaccines in the final stage. They will all five be in production by February. By summer, everyone in America who wants a vaccine will have it. Plus this virus is about over now, anyway.

I got to tour it last month and it is nicer. I’m assuming there will begin a push to have one off, non conference matchups at Sofi and Vegas. Really wish we were playing SC at the coliseum next year and not UCLA in Pasadena. UCLA just isn’t even a brand anymore. Will help pay dividends with California recruits though.

I’m not going for the UCLA fans. I am going to say that I have been to the venue. I’ve been to Wrigley Field & Fenway Park. I made a Packers game @ Lambeau Field. None of those were beautiful shiny stadiums with all the amenities (Jerry’s World). Like the Rose Bowl, they are all modern sports history. You go to them because they are not new shiny stadiums. I would not spend a penny to go to So-Fi Stadium & see this game. But, if I’m allowed to go by those who make those decisions I will be there. And the fewer UCLA fans the better.

I live in that “shithole” state. Besides it being expensive and full of traffic ... if you call this a “shithole” than Louisiana is a shite crater.

I was thinking the exact same thing
Bruh, I love Louisiana...............it's like my second home. But ain't no way in hell you can compare it to California.

Look I'm an LSU alum, but I'm a SoCal native................and UCLA (which used to be my favorite team) is my second favorite team. So, this is a perfect weekend for me. Honestly, UCLA's tailgate is not bad. It's not near the level of LSU, but hardly anywhere I've been IS. I went one weekend recently when they were good and Oregon was in town. It was a GREAT tailgate. Much different than what we do in Baton Rouge, but surprisingly a lot of fun. I'm hoping the team will be somewhat good by next Fall, but if not I'll still have a great time. The Rose Bowl is a great venue to go to a game. One suggestion though.....................................DO NOT try to drive to the stadium. Take the shuttles!

I don’t think Gavin Newsome will allow anyone in the stadium...

My plan is to go to the Napa Valley a week early and drive to L.A. on the Pacific Coast Highway. Let's hope everything is back to normal by then.

This is one of my bucket list stadiums to see. Just booked my stay at the Hilton Los Angeles-Universal City. About an 18 minute ride to the stadium.

the Rose Bowl will be dominated by LSU alum, and fans. The alum group in San Diego and So. Cal is one of the largest alum groups W of the Mississippi. I can guarantee that the tailgate will be a great one, and the fact that LSU people take over and invade will create one to remember. Plan on it ! I can't wait to have LSU in my backyard again. Last LSU game I saw on the W. Coast was 1984 V USC.

THIS

We are already making plans for this trip.

I've been to the Rose Bowl way backfire an Ohio State/USC game and it is actually very beautiful. Especially on the one side the stadium, when you enter, you actually walk down into the bowl. Great memories!
