Great time except for the early kickoff and the no AC in the dome..

Was There. Nobody could stop Leonard Fournette but the referee Tom Ritter. 14 calls against LSU, 4 against Syracuse. We should have beaten them by 20-30. Syracuse went in 3-0 and finished the year 4-8. Cooperstown was great, the Syracuse band was cool, but Ritter did his thing.

One of the best football pics I have ever seen came from that game. Almost looks like AI.

I went to the game. It was a great road trip. Me, a college buddy, his girlfriend drive up from NYC. The stadium was just a cool place to experience even if it was an early kick. Given the early kick there was basically no tailgating and the town was kinda dead. It was my 1st experience getting to drink legally in a college football stadium. Drink Labat Blues ??

Would love more of these OOC games vs teams up north even if it’s not big time matchups.

I get why universities would rather a neutral site because you’re guaranteed millions vs not making a penny to travel for home/home, but wish there were more true road games. Interested if Clemson is still on the schedule in two years.

It was pretty good -they stole a rushing record d from LF with a fake call- but that Carrier Dome was like being trapped inside a drum with someone banging it the whole time…

Pretty sure the TV contract still makes them money on home and homes but it’s definitely not as much as a neutral site.

Neutral sites are so lame. They’re ruining the sport

Great trip, especially since we went to Cooperstown also! Still remember the long uphill hike to the stadium.

I got all the way there but the flight was called back because of an illegal procedure or holding.

Penalties are what I remember from that game.

Not a lot of good food

Dinosaur BBQ was actually pretty damned good.

Playing in a pressurized dome was kinda strange, as was there being no AC in the Carrier Dome.

A damn good trip all in all.

I also went to Niagara Falls and Toronto while I was up there.

The break from the heat was also nice.

Great trip. Syracuse pep rallies on a beautiful campus were pretty cool. But best part of the trip was going to Niagara Falls the following 2 days and flying out of Buffalo

Fun trip. They tailgate on a hill a couple miles from the stadium. We took bikes to ride down and back. Was an absolute blast and mixed in Niagara Falls and Anchor Bar.

Highlight: Some LSU fans came up with multiple coolers of fresh caught gulf shrimp (still jumping in cooler). Perfectly boiled and so much they couldn’t give it all away. Was fabulous.

Wife and I went to NYC for a couple days then rented a car and drove up to Syracuse. Drive was great that time of year in the fall. Game was just ok mainly bc kick off was at noon. Seeing the Carrier Dome was cool if you're trying to visit as many stadiums as possible.

Is that where Leonard ran wild while the Orange third string qb made us look silly?

Brandon Harris made us look silly that day. And to think he was really so bad, yet he replaced Anthony Jennings who was even worse

That’s what happens when you take a spread QB and force him to play pro style. I swear Harris would have done just fine in the Ensminger offense. I will die on this hill!
