Earl, what you got for me?

Remember, you don't have to like or hate a coach to be a rational thinker.

BOX, is a 7-37 loss against Miss St the same as a 7 OT loss to A&M?

simple question

Yes, because the same coach was at the helm. Next question.

It will only get worse. Even with the easier schedule next year I guarantee the ceiling is 9 regular season wins.

thankfully we didn't or Jimbo and his douche nephew would be tied to our program

Miles had made winning feeling like an arse-beating. He, then, PROMISED (his bosses) that he was going to make a change to the offense. He did not. It got him fired.

Les Miles won a lot of games and got LSU to the promised land coaching to win.

After the horror show of 2008, Les Miles changed. LSU did not play to win, they played not to lose.

I was 100% behind Miles... until he chose not to replace Cam Cameron after 2015.

The problem with your comparison is that we lost three disgraceful games. That was a worse season than this one.

The SEC is worse now..

and we lost to A&M.

All things equal in terms of amount of losses and a&m being one of those.. blows.. much more..

O is now 1-6 versus Saban, Mullen, Jimbo?

This is the direction we want to be heading? Imagine if Auburn actually ever gets good again, or Arkansas ever decides to be competitive, or Ole Miss learns how to field a defense.

We are not taking advantage of a down SEC. We are not improved one bit.

And he wants to use the word "GREAT?"

This was not a great season. Miami and Auburn were atrocious this season. I was a "good" season.. but I fear that will always be the case. Good enough to get by but never truly compete for championships.

Is no one going to bring up that one coach was in his 11th season at LSU and one is currently is his 2nd.

O needs to take the next step I agree with that and I believe we probably need to make a change at OC. I also believe so far he is doing a decent job and after next season we will know if he can take that next step with all the returning players. If they do and go 11-1 minimum then great if they 10-2 I will feel very uneasy 9-3 or worst then I will probably remove myself from the O bandwagon.

I hate the fact that people base season results off of what media and others expect.

So if the media keeps thinking we go 6-6, 7-5 and we turn around and go 8-4, 9-3 every year we are absolutely fricked as a fanbase.

frick that, we didn’t even compete for the west this season, that is not a good even if it “exceeded expectations.”

This is the Tiger Ree line of thinking.
