I mean Not a huge market for 65 year old head coaches.

But he won 112 games in 11 years a NC and 2 SEC championships. He’s a great coach.

There's always a market for "great" coaches

great coaches don't end up at Kansas, or are jobless for 2 years when actively seeking employment

I love that 2001 team.one of the funnest seasons in my life

Yep. That team was left for dead after the Ole Miss game but rose from the ashes.
Lot of great moments like the last minute drive vs Kentucky, the Ro-Josh show in Tuscaloosa, the Auburn game and of course the SECCG with Junior and Lulu.

Actually the 2000 season rekindled hope with the Vol OT win, breaking Bama's BR streak the come from behind Peach Bowl game.

The 2000, 2001 and 2003 teams are my favorites to be honest. Such as exciting time.

Great coaches don't have avg results.

They build programs, take them from 3 or 4 wins to above avg.

By definition avg for a 12 game season is 6-6.

Wrong...15 mos at UGA. enrolled at UGA in Jan 2009....dismissed at end of april 2010. DO THE MATH!

An early entree and 1 season has about 8 months around the program with coaches. You dont know what you are talking about.

2012 he didn't start playing really well until the bama game...if only they had let him develop with live snaops in those blowouts in 2011...we probably beat bama.

So not developed. Developed good qbs dont play bad 10 games and then flip a switch. Good god

Why any “LSU fan” would seek to piss down the back of a national championship team is a mystery to me, but each do our own.

Thats how much of a shite fan he is. He will shite on a national title so he doesn't have to say anything positive about les miles.

could have been, I never gave it much thought, I was pointing out how Ricky takes a comment and either turns it into something that was not said or implied or goes off on another topic altogether.

Please tell me how to take that qoute any different.

You said the 2013 offense couldve been the 2001 offense if they weren't so predictable.

Why the frick would you want your offense to be more like a LESS PRODUCTIVE OFFENSE?

Nevermind that we had an amazing run game to go along with a potent passing attack. When you shite on 2013 offense you pretty much shite on every lsu offense that wasnt as productive(99% of them).

you don't see a difference in a margin of victory of 19, compared to a margin of victory of 5?

You left out a game in each season. Just FYI.

I loved LSU football during the Saban Era, with two noteworthy exceptions: the end of 2002, LSU played terribly, mostly because Marcus Randall was no good, and that infamous 2005 Cap One loss to Iowa.

The luck being a QB that was already developed...and yes we lucked into Burrow also.

And Burrow was also developed before arriving to LSU.

If Miles produces at Kansas, I will be the 1st to say i was wrong. He can't go there and have similar records as so many of the coaches before him that only won 3 or 4 games. If he is truly great as you claim, He has to be better.

I'm not talking about an NC, but in a 12 game season, 8 wins are achievable for a coach that is as good as you claim.

So you expect Miles to win 8 games right off the bat at a school whose highest ranked recruiting class in the past 5 years is 50, and whose highest ranked class since the 2000 season was in 2006 that came in at 39. And a school whose last winning season was 2008 (8-5) and has only won 23 games since the 2009 season?

You expect those kind of results right off the bat from Miles, when people like you are perfectly content with o only winning 9 games his first year at a school that hasn't had a losing record since the 1999 season and has had top 25 recruiting classes since the turn of the century. And played the weakest schedule LSU has faced in years.

Makes perfect sense coming from a guy like you.

They've won more than 7 games 5 times since 1951.

4 wins would be their best season in almost a decade.

Also, you see he has moved the goalposts.
He said miles would never get another p5 job which proves he sucks. Now he is trying to change it to winning 8 games.

There's several people on here that I flat can't figure out. They insist on shitting all over Miles and the things he accomplished while he was the head coach. It's amazing.

I'm nowhere near a fan of Orgeron, but if the man won a SEC or National Championship while he was in charge of the program, I sure as hell wouldn't piss all over it like some of these shitbirds do with Miles championships.

It's almost like the things you've said to some of them in the past about Miles fricking their loved ones. It's like their wives or girlfriends screamed out Les Miles name during sex and they're traumatized for life over it.
