And? so you think that everyone should believe our recruiting wouldn't be affected by changing the HC? that's beyond moronic

Don’t tell me. Tell O and our AD because they both seemed to believe it.

Sorry O doesn’t get a pass for 2017 when he turns around and fails to get a game changer at Rb the next year too.

You haven’t made a point in like 5 posts.

If O can’t be held accountable for 2017, than he fricked up in 2018. We couldn’t land a single RB who could even contribute this year.

I think O was here. He said I will be continueity in recruiting, and he missed. 2017 is on him. He said so can do this, I’ll get Oliver I’ll get Akers and he didn’t. And then in 2018 he didn’t fix that problem.

Especially since he knew we only took 1 RB in 2016 and he is now a Lb.

The luck being a QB that was already developed...and yes we lucked into Burrow also

He spent 6 months at uga and 3 years at lsu. My god you dont follow lsu football.

The simple fact that you think a qb is developed after 1 red shirt year just further puts your football ignorance on full display.

Wow. Its not often that posters actually straight up prove their lack of knowledge.

May be lucky that he became available, but Orgeron and Ensminger got that kid to leave his home and come down to Baton Rouge to play. There is nothing lucky about convincing him to choose LSU.

So if a team sets records but is only using a fraction of its overall ability the coach is great? NOOOO!!!!

Where did I say 2001 was a better offense than 2013. NEVER!!!

I was making a point that Davey to Reed was unstoppable. Ask Bama. They tried everything to stop Reed that day he went off for just under 300 yards.

Miles would have NEVER exploited that.

I didn't want an air raid. I wanted unpredictable.
I didn't want to give away what we were doing by formation or personnel grouping.
I didn't want to come out on passing downs and run 2 man routes against 6 dbs.

That was Miles, that is weak minded. Did he set records? Yes. Did he get the most out of his talent?

HELL NO!!!!!!!

That is why a coach can have a NC to his name and also be the only coach in the BCS era to play in said game with 2 losses.

So you don’t want to be predictable unless
Something works then we should ride that like a stolen horse.

Currently

We are predictable.

You think anyone in college football gives a crap about a two loss NC season except a few malcontent LSU fans.

BTW, we beat the team college football had listed as the number one team in the nation to win that championship. We also played eight teams that were nationally ranked when we played them. No one gave us anything, bud.

Also, a bunch of other teams in front of LSU had the oppurtunity to be in that national championship game and they crumbled under the pressure. LSU did not. As you stated correctly, no one gave LSU anything. All of this "backed into" stuff is just a bunch of bullshite people spew about that season.

The guy in charge of recruiting in the head coach capacity since October 2016 is O. The guy at LSU doing recruiting for LSU since 2015 is O. O has been telling everyone who to go after a long time now.

And still the best we can do is 9-3, 5-3. We comin!

Then what were you insinuating with this ........
quote:

Had it not been for being predictable, that offense could have been like 2001. Davey to Reed. Only with 2 Josh Reeds.

Just admit you had no idea that 2013 was more productive than 2001.

You clearly dont remember 2001. Go back and check that 1st Tenn game and ole miss game and show me unstoppable.

quote:

Which you had in 2013. We had a sec rn setting the sec single season ypc record and 2 1000 yard wrs.

If youre expecting a lsu offense to come along and be more productive than 2013.... youre gonna be sad for the foreseeable future.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

The 2013 offense was one of the most productive offenses in cfb in 2013.

The best and most accomplished tenure in lsu history. FACT.

Everyone had 2 lossed that year.

Do you also shite on 2001 sec title? I bet you dont.

How much does it hurt you soul that....
In 20 years Miles name will still be all over Lsu's record books and your opinion of him will be dust.
Deal with it.

You mean like he explouted Ohio state's inability to cover a te in the title game?

You dont know what you are talking about and youre shitting on one of the best offenses in lsu history JUST BECAUSE YOU DONT LIKE THE COACH.

Its pathetic.

I thought you said points matter?

2013 had more points per game, yards per game, yards per play, points per play, more 1st downs per game, better top, better 3rd down conversion rate.

There are no statistics that back up your stance.

You and cj put your bias on full display by shitting on an offense that was more productive just because of who the coach is.

You really talk yourself into corners because you dont look at shite before you spout.

Go take a look at the games youre mentioning for 2013 and then go take a gander at 2001 games im mentioning.

Well the 1st Tenn game was the 1st game after 9/11... Everyone was a bit awkward at the time....

The Ole Miss game was bad... We should have had that...

Now in 2013 the Ole miss game was a disgreace.. The #5 team in the country went to Ole Miss who had like 7 starters missing on defense and started a whole bunch of freshman and LSU got beat....

The Bama game in 2013 was also a disgrace.. We drove down the field on the 1st drive and made it look easy until the fumble... After that it was horrible... The o-line would not even help Mett up in the 4th quarter after he had taken ANOTHER HUGE hit...........

Ill say this... in 2001 THAT LSU team would have given Miami A WAY better game than Nebraska did... I can't say the same about the 2013 team............
