Their roster listed 53 players so must have had a lot of redshirts, injuries etc. Not sure. They still listed them all on their site roster.
Project can jump in and tell us the dates they had to cut down etc.

They over recruited for several years and had a lot of guys redshirt off the roster. Some even stuck around for a second year and didn’t make the active 40 man roster.

Word is on volnation that he wasn’t happy with the pitching this year. Now some of that attrition is roster management due to the 34 scholarship limit. Loy hitting the portal was a surprise to them. He was one of their most effective middle relievers. He wants a starting weekend job.
