20 out of 20 on an earlier thread that say they'd take Rohan Davey everyday over Jayden

I don't like when people claim everything was better in the good ole days and today sucks, when it's really just them personally being unhappy people. Honestly, low IQ unless there's merit.

Rohan Davey:
12 G 18 Total TD 217 Completions 367 Attempts 59.1% 3,347 Yards 9.1 Y/A 18 TD 10 INT 38 Rushes 4 Yards 0 TD 3,351 Total Yards

Jayden Daniels:
8 G 26 Total TD 205 Completions 338 Attempts 60.7% 2,943 Yards 8.7 Y/A 17 TD 2 INT 113 Rush Attempts 524 Yards 9 TD 3,540 Total Yards

Jayden last 2 games:

2 G 44 Completions 60 Attempts 73.3% 597 Yards 10 Y/A 5 TD 0 INT 37 Rushes 165 Yards 3 Rush TD

Jayden last 2 games extrapolated over 12 game season:

48 Total TD 264 Completions 360 Attempts 73.3% 3,582 Yards 10 Y/A 30 TD 0 INT 222 Rushes 990 Yards 18 Rush TD 4,572 Total Yards

You could include Tennessee in here and the stats would hold, but I personally see the type of transformation in Jayden that seems permanent. Like he had this all along but was scared, and now he's no longer afraid.

This post was made even after Ole Miss. You'd have to be insane to take Rohan over Jayden after the past couple weeks.

You realize that it's an undeniable fact that Louisiana is one of the dumbest states in the USA right?

Where do you think the majority of posters here are from?

It shouldn't come as a surprise that there are tons of low IQ posters on here.

Man I love me some Jayden…but I’d still take Rohan right now. Rohan to Reed was a record breaker!!!!

He gonna have to win an sec title to change my mind.

Rohan was fun to watch in his way. He threw a pretty ball.

The numbers undeniably make Daniels the leader in this comparison, and he has had a few great moments and games this year. Anxious to see how he does the rest of the year, and hope he comes back.

This is only fun because it compares wickedly talented quarterbacks that are athletic, but can't read a defense. Effective, yes. A QB that can change the play on the line is more successful.

No way to compare and I only remember the macro, but I would have put Rohan in on a 3rd and long.

Offenses are totally different now than just 10 years ago.

Doesn’t mean the players in those seasons wouldn’t excel in modern offensive systems.

Next you will say Einstein wasn’t as smart as scientists today because he couldn’t use a computer.

Rohan is a top ten great Tiger QB. I hope Jayden becomes one when he is done.

Rohan helped bring LSU out of a dark time. Looks like Jayden is doing the same.

It’s impossible to compare the two using stats due to differing eras and the evolution of the game

The last 2 weeks only JaMarcus and Joe over Daniels.

The 1st few weeks...Robbie Mahfouz.

Rohan also did this in a Jimbo Fisher offense. That is amazing.

When Jayden throws for 5 hunny on Bama I’ll give him the nod.

The Daniels book isn't closed yet.
Hope he finds his Reed to connect with.

Rohan didn’t need to throw to win. We had an offense designed around Toefield and Davis and when needed we threw it around.

Give me Rohan all day and if you disagree you are under 25.

The offenses and players were different then. Rohan would be like Jalen Hurts playing today. Would you take Jalen over Daniels, I would.

Rohan was over 20 years ago now. The average fan doesn’t have a clue how good or bad he was

I agree with the premise of the thread—I actually looked up Rohan’s numbers to compare a couple weeks ago. But these numbers for Daniels aren’t correct. I think you may have mixed some of his freshmen year at ASU numbers in there.

Jayden last 2 games extrapolated over 12 game season:

I hate when people do this stupid shite.

You can't take two games out of 7 games played and extrapolate them out to a full season.

If he had played the first five games the way he played his last two, then he'd be the Heisman front-runner and LSU would be undefeated, and not a single LSU fan would have anything to criticize.

The problem is he didn't, we aren't, and the criticism of his early play was deserved.
