I’ve been a fan since I was a young one . My very first LSU basketball game was in 81 when they played in the dome in the big dance and defeated Arkansas and Wichita State to advance to the final four .

That’s when fandom starts. shite I was 8-10 yo in the 79-81 seasons. I’ve said it a lot, but frick dudes that don’t think we want to win or are fans. I listened to LSU MBB games over the radio waves.

I love LSU basketball just as much as LSU football.
Nothing like watching your team make deep runs in the big dance .Those 86&87 runs were something to remember.

Use the money on football and baseball until we get a new arena. No use in trying to throw money at kids when our basketball facilities are at a mid major or worse level.

I am originally from Arkansas so was born a Hog fan. Moved to BR as a kid in late 70s. That weekend in the dome changed my fandom. Went in a Hog came out a Tiger.
