I was there, high up in the nose bleed seats, with my P&G on. Only 1 gump tried to give me trouble. the others stopped him. I remember Tony Moss's catch for a TD and a bear trap "D". What a day. After the game a lot of gumps invited us to tailgate with them.

was there. My all-time favorite regular season game. I went in a Winnebago w a bunch of buddies. The games were in Birmingham back then, but we partied in Tuscaloosa Friday nite (bar called Lee's Tomb, I think). After we won, we drove back to Tuscaloosa to raise hell. They had closed ALL the bars down on a Saturday nite, not wanting to deal with a bunch of obnoxious Tiger fans. Probably a smart move. So we partied in the street. I still remember a purple and gold Cadillac convertible doing 180's up and down the street.
I also remember "gatoring" on the stadium down-ramp, while the LSU band had to go around us.
Do you know anything about a stolen police radio that night?

I was there at the old Gray Lady.

That day was known as "the day LSU broke the bone". The Tigers completely shut down the wishbone...and really the wishbone started to die out around that time unless you were a service academy.

Bama said LSU would beat them only "when Pigs fly.'' T-shirt guys made a killing afterwards.

I was at the game. A friend of mine got tickets in the Bama student section. I wore my gold LSU sweatshirt and was loud and obnoxious. That was a glorious game.

That was 1993, not 1982.

There were actually t-shirts: "The Year We Beat the Bear"

Had some guys in my class that went to the game. Monday they were telling us they had to fight there way out of the stadium to their car. Gumps were pissed.
I was at that game. Freshman year and some guys went to Birmingham. One of the most exciting games I've ever been to.
11 straight losses to Bama, and 2-16 over the prior 18 years. We were ready.
And no, we didn't have to fight our way out of the stadium. Everybody was nice. Your friends might be embellishing a bit.

That is nice Keltic Tiger, but seeing how Mack Brown was the QB coach; George Belu was the Offensive Coordinator.
Also Mack Brown nickname around town at that time was the "Snake Oil Salesman".
Now giving credit where credit is due Mack Brown was one of the driving forces behind getting Jerry Stovall in the College football Hall of Fame.

I was at the game and it was colder than a well digger's @$$. Ran out of bourbon before halftime. Went to the bathroom and you could've heard a mouse pi$$ing on a cotton ball it was so quiet until someone yelled "how bout dem Tigahs!" I remember walking out of the stadium after the game and there were Tigers dancing on top of motorhomes. Several old time Bama fans stopped to shake my hand and said it was the worst beating they had ever seen the Bear take.

I wa there in Birmingham Legion Field. Best road game domination of a traditionally dominant team I ever attended. It was an euphoric moment in LSU history. Leonard Marshall and the rest of that DL just owned the trenches that game. He want on to have a heckuva career with the NY Giants.

I was there also. Sunny day, we beat their azzez.
Was in bleachers added for the game on the field in the endzone.
That was a good team. Went on to the Orange Bowl against Nebraska. Was there for that also.
