This is the worst coaching staff I have ever witnessed in college basketball

And then calls a timeout to draw up a Martin 3 pointer from half court

Im fine with the timeout then. The end result was pretty poor, but it ended up luckily working out

Stop lying. That was nowhere near half court.

Our guys' talent is why we have the lead right now

I'd be perfectly fine with him letting Mussellman call the X and O's the rest of the game while he left the PMAC and stuck to what he's actually good at in recruiting.

It is quite a showing of drastically different timeout philosophies. Donovan used his two in attempts to stop LSU runs of 7-0 and 4-0 (I think).

not the first time. His lack of timeouts during runs is astonishing. Not sure he goes numb.

It was 3 feet behind the 3 point line. Point is, that's what you draw up when you finally do take a timeout? This staff has a basketball iq of a new born sloth

May not have been from halfcourt, but it was pretty deep.

this happens every single game

we were up big against a&m in the 2nd half…big run no timeout
we were up big against UGA in the 2nd half….big run no timeout
we were up big against teen in the 2nd half…big run no timeout

and when I say big run, I mean at least 10-0 or worse

it's unfrickingbelievable

A fricking men. We would be better of with Jones on the recruiting trail right now

come on guys no need to bash jones.

we went on a 6-0 run because he didn't use the timeout. Then drawing up the wait it out and toss it around the top of the key 3 at the end of the half was great.

The difference in the energy of the PMAC was noticeable before and after Donovan called the TO after the Q dunk

Yeah it was at the buzzer. Obviously the initial play didn't work out and they had to improvise.

When was the last time LSU had the ball with the last shot at the end of the 1st half or game that was not a 3 point attempt?

Good at recruiting, poor at play calling and managing timeouts. That's just an LSU coaching tradition.
