re: 12-0 still seems surreal. How many truly thought this team would accomplish such a feat?

You mean 10-2 right....... or 11-2 after a bowl game.

I had them at 11-1. I saw a good offensive line becoming very good, a good QB in his second year as a starter, all the receivers coming back, and a defense that returned everyone except White and Greedy. Experience matters. Please remember that for next year. We’ve gotten used to this success, but those winds will be headwinds next year.

I was pleasantly surprised after the Texas win of the offense. I really thought a special season was possible after the bama win.

Many of us expected 11-1. Some people who were cautiously optimistic picked 10-2, and the pessimists picked 9-3 or worse.

Did not think we had the fire power to beat Bama, but it was the exact opposite.

10-2 is the floor this season. I expect either 11-1 or 12-0 (with quite a bit of luck). Just my .02.

Stating 11/1 AND 12/0 is not the same as saying 12/0 period. You left a way out. Just saying.

After the Texas game, I knew we would be 12-0 or 11-1 for the regular season.

It has always and ever been about Bama. Maybe now it can be about something else.

I said 11-1... the schedule set up perfect. No way I thought we'd be this good on offense though. It's been like a dream.

It is surreal. but, reading about Joe even before he transferred here, I knew we were going to have an excellent QB. I never thought it would be this good though.

I was hoping for 11-1, expecting 10-2, and would have accepted 9-3.

Seems ridiculous now. We may lose a game, but I do it expect any losses.

I predicted 11-1 before the season so I wasn’t surprised

I understand some people had 12-0 but only delusional fans would have seriously stuck us to win over Bama (guaranteed) before the year started. I was skeptical and expecting more of last year. I had heard the excitement of a new offense, but honestly didn't believe it at all. It was only like the 5th time we had this promise of something different.

Loving every second of watching this offense sling the ball and Clyde jump cutting and spinning his was out of tackles. When he wins the NC and Heisman, I think we should announce we are retiring the 9. I'd like to see a statue with Joe in the middle with Jefferson and Chase next to him with Clyde running kind of sideways in front. Joe with that smirk.

I figured we would be like some of the UGA teams. 10-11 wins. Right on the cusp of the playoffs if not 4.

Going into the season, I felt like we were capable of winning all 12 of the games on our schedule, but because of who were had -

Texas, Florida, Auburn, Alabama

I felt like that was too many heavyweights for us to win them all. We had not beaten Bama in 8 years....

So I was hoping for 11-1 with a shot at the SEC Championship and the Playoffs.

But this team hasn't just exceeded my expectations.... it's been unbelievable. I think we still have to pinch ourselves that we have THIS powerhouse, explosive offense and a Heisman QB.

This team may not win it all. Ohio State and Clemson look just as awesome as we do..... BUT -

This team is damn sure capable of beating any team, any time, any place and I'm proud of them!

With the way the schedule set up (and with what LSU was bringing back from last season) most reasonably felt that 10-2 was kind of the break even line. The questions were could LSU beat Texas and/or Bama on the ROAD?

Personally, I thought Texas was overrated when one looked at how little they returned from last year. I felt confident LSU could win that game before the season started. Not so much about the Bama game given the past recent history in the series; the location and Bama's personnel. So I guess maybe the only true surprise was the win over Bama. But I thought 11-1 was certainly doable.

Now, the manner in which they went 12-0 was COMPLETELY unexpected. Not even in my wildest dreams did I think the offense would perform at THIS level or that the Heisman trophy (an award I probably haven't cared about in a decade or more) would (likely) be coming to LSU

Paid out a couple hours after the ATM game. It was based on the 12 game regular season schedule.
