That wasn't the OPs reason. It was that he could be talked about the rest of the day during other games, halftime shows, etc.

If the argument against Jayden is he plays too late then there would be no argument for Oregon and Washington, who both play super late games on west coast.

I’ve never seen Oregon or Washington play. I kind of like that this game is early. LSU can campaign all day, Kelly can be on shows and clips of him laying it down on Natty tv. LSU is on full marketing mode for JD right now

It does not- a lot of what jd does hinge on the OL play….lsu has historically sh&t the bed at 11am games

Top of that- a&m is good defensively

His point isn’t that if they don’t watch the later games.

You do realize other games are occurring while LSU is playing right? And fans watch those games instead of LSU.

But if LSU plays early, and JD5 puts another noteworthy performance, then those highlights will filter down to every single other game, in their halftime show if nothing else. Also would get brought up (with graphics most likely) comparing JD5 to other Heisman candidates (at least the west coasters) in their own game.

Ohio St, Mich game will be showing crazy good Jaden Daniels highlights to lots of viewers.
