Right now we are a projected 8 seed. If we win these last 2 and win 1-2 in the SEC tourney, we hopefully will climb back to the 6-7 area, which gives us a chance to make it to the 2nd weekend. I know February was rough, but I would have taken this position (11-5) in a heartbeat if offered preseason and I expect many of you reasonable people would as well. We ridin!

Most likely we will split these last 2. Hopefully we can go farther in the SEC Tournament. I want a 6 or 7 seed.

Talent is there but the lack of depth has worn down this team. After the 8-0 start, you are seeing a team that is just worn down especially at the end of games and it leads to turnovers when you are fatigued.

If they can get a little rest going into the Tourney, they have a shot to upset some top teams.

You mean this team isn’t going to be the first LSU team ever to win the NCAA Basketball Tournament?

Shocking

Why didn’t you use the regular season trophy in your response?

We have 6'6 Center and PF...I don't think that is Championship talent. Doesn't mean the team is not talented, but there are many teams MORE talented.

I think the Charles Manning injury was devastating from depth but especially what he meant for our defense. If he can come back for the NCAA tourney, we are a MUCH different team.

We can beat anyone on any given day...we can lose to anyone on any given day.

If LSU makes it to the Round of 32 this year will have been a fantastic success.

I could see the NCAA sticking it to LSU and making us play the mid-seed “play in” game which is, by the way, one of the dumber things the NCAA does. They need to get rid of it.

If we can get it set up to run into Maryland the round of 32 we have a great chance. They’re the most fraudulent of all the top seed. They have 1 dude that can shoot in smith and then they have that cowen kid who’s their leading scorer. I just don’t think they’re very good

That would require us falling to the 11 line... Which I just don't see happening

. They do if you didn’t get to recruit because your AD and university president are morons. If this team ends up a 6/7 seed, it will be one of the best coaching jobs in LSU history due to the key injuries and WW being castrated by Alleva.

This team has flaws but when they show up to play they can hang with anyone.

fatigue is an excuse. This is college, not the NBA. College teams only play twice per week and only 30 games total. There’s no grind in college and young legs can handle it just fine.

Is being a dumbass an excuse for such an idiotic post? Go ask any major college coach or player. Wow. I mean throwing up this level of idiocy is truly amazing even for this board.

If we can pull the San Diego st. is a #1 seed region, I'm all for an 8-9 seed.
