Disappointing players would mean that they are not performing at the level that they were expected/used to. This is more of a shot at their current coaches rather than who recruited them.

Lol @ Georgia teammates celebrating Arik’s TD like he is a walk-on senior.

First of all, this is a dumb article, followed by an even dumber post.

Logically speaking (yeah I know, logic has no place in the Rant) shouldn't their current troubles reflect more on the current coach than the recruiting coach?

FWIW Anthony Richardson isn't on this list and I listened all offseason about how he was the next Cam Newton and Florida is a dark horse in the east

It would have been dumb and irresponsible to not recruit these players. So, not sure what the point is here.

Bech isn't a wideout. He earns his play catching balls across the middle of the field. Since the game plan doesn't call for throwing across the middle, he's odd man out.

How many targets and how many drops has he had?

I firmly believe that, sometimes, a player's success is dependent on who he plays with. Bech is a good player, but I think most of his big-hoss moments last year was because of his connection with the QB.

Think Mahomes/Kelce; I'm not saying that Bech is anywhere NEAR Kelce, but anyone who's watched the Chiefs over the last few years knows that it's the two of them together that makes for a spectacular performance.

Last year, it seemed like Max could find Bech anywhere on the field, get it to him at full gallop and let him run up the YAC.

I don't think Bech has that kind of connection with JD. To be fair, with injuries he didn't have the chance to develop a connection early in the season and others stepped in (like Malik and Mason).

He may come back at some point in the future, but if that happens I don't think it'll be this year.

All will be forgiven if he scores the game winning TD against the gump fricks tho

Bech got passed up by more talented players. I think he was hurt in the fall and was still banged up during the season. It's hard to say how he would do back in the lineup at WR because he hasn't had the chance. He crashed and burned as a returner. So did Nabers who muffed 2 punts the opening game and got pulled. Nabers, Taylor and Boutte have all had issues with drops, but are improving with reps and opportunities.

Without looking looking at metrics I would guess Jenkins and Thomas have been the most sure handed. Would Bech excel if he was back in at receiver? Who knows? He was the most sure handed receiver last year. Either way, we have a lot of talent at WR and that's more of a reason why he's not playing. Good problem to have.

Well, when you have a qb that can't read defenses, it affects the slot big time.
You're a moron if you think bech can't play
