Clemson 38, Georgia Southern 7.

That is the standard. Anything worse, and it's a disappointing opener. Anything better, and it's high fives all around.

hey hung in tough with Clemson actually.

They got outgained 595-140, 27 first downs to 7.

Clemson had 4 TO and 2 missed FG, and still won 38-7. They obviously didn't give a shite about playing that game, and still dominated
Not in the first half. They hung with Clemson, then Clemson destroyed them. Just saying.

If my memory serves me correct, Ga So is a triple option team, much like GT, w/o a passing game.

Not for a while now, moved to a shotgun/pistol based option attack a few years back. Havent been under center a while now. No cut blocking and stuff like that.

Clemson 1st half - 368 yards, 21 points, 2 TO and a missed FG

GASO 1st half - 30 yards, 0 points

Clemson had a better 1st half than 2nd half, I don't know why everybody keeps saying they just pulled away at the end

right, but to force 4 turnovers against the national champs is pretty impressive. Kindle Vildor is an NFL caliber corner. A large portion of that 600 was in the 4th quarter, so that means that for 3 quarters they hung pretty tough with an offense that is miles ahead of LSU's.
Clemson gained 120 yards in the 4th quarter.

You do know you can easily look up these stats on the Internet?

...and that's only because Kelly Bryant played for half the game and finished with a 24.4 QBR. If Trevor Lawrence had played the whole time, probably would have been higher.
