I have no clue. It would be much easier for you to have looked at their schedule to see who they beat then you coming here to post this and then another poster looking it up. Also if you knew who beat them wouldn’t you know some of their “quality” wins from last season?

Due to the style they play, playing them the first game is a lot better than having to prepare for them during the course of the season or after a tough physical SEC game.
It's the first game and even that will prevent looking ahead to Texas.

No doubt... this game will be over at halftime. As much talk about the offense being revamped, Burrow, Brady, etc...no reason we shouldn't embarrass this team.

They got outgained 595-140, 27 first downs to 7.
Clemson had 4 TO and 2 missed FG, and still won 38-7. They obviously didn't give a shite about playing that game, and still dominated

It will probably be more like a 38-10 type of game . I don’t think we hang 50 points because I don’t think the offense will just come out the gate firing on all cylinders. There will be kinks to work out and growing pains.

They’re on Troy’s level talent wise and they have a scheme that could give any defense a tough game. They could feasibly could sneak up and beat a P5 team that was looking ahead or having a bad season, a la UF a couple years ago. We’re going to be ready, however, and it will be over early.

History says you’re right.. I’m just being extra optimistic this year. I took a sip of the kool-aid and I’m believing the changes are being made and Orgeron is building a power program with some attitude. They should come out and never let off the pedal. It’ll be disappointing if it’s a sloppy game and we let them hang around into the second half. We are too talented even for the first game. It’s not Miami, it’s GA Southern...

They beat App State, who was a pretty damn good football team. Clemson really didn't crush them despite the score saying so. it was 24-7 up until the last 5 minutes of that game. GSU's defense was really tough in that game.

They dominated App state. If I remember right it was a bit rainy and perfect conditions for their game, either way app state is good and nothing to sneeze at.
