So, back on point. Explanation of the new rule was posted in this thread. Please any and all good listen, and simply respond like adults on whether or not your personal understanding was different.
I read on here that so many think we are gonna load up on seniors who might get an extra year.
Thats NOT the case. No one in their expiring year of eligibility will be grandfathered in.
I joke a lot on here, but that has been the basis of most of yalls theory that wade will load up on those types of guys.
So considering it wont be the case, what kind of shape is LSU in to get quality players moving forward?

As for the “McMahon fans first” you and many others in this forum should look in the mirror. There were plenty of “Wade first” fans who openly dismissive of the Tigers and who swore they would not support LSU until Wade returned, making Wade bigger than LSU.

. I even showed proof from 247 sports where several other schools in and outside the SEC had 7/8/9 players commited already. I dont even understand how the 5yr to play rule being voted on in May can be something he is waiting for because there again although the portal has several players still in the balance, several other schools have gotten their teams filled with most all of the best players who got paid and thats done for them. In the end, I can agree that obviously Wade has a plan and he has a few months till august to finish it. I think everyone wants to know whats happening is all. No need for people here to become a "scorned woman" over it for wanting to know what the situation is like this so far. Downvote all you want and come here to cry over me or my my reply idgaf. Like Tiger said, nobody knows whats going on and many people are curious. A bit of revisionist history here. I can speak for myself. I would’ve preferred ANYONE but McMahon. I started pulling for blowouts under McMahon because I figured that would be the only way that would guarantee we would be free from the losing culture he put in place.
Sure I’m happy Wade is back but I would’ve taken anyone else (even Lamont Paris or Porter Moser). McMahon has no business being a Division I head coach.
