This also isn’t the same college baseball that our dads knew. The game has done a complete 180 since those times. New bats, less homeruns, more talent, a lot more better teams than back then when there were like maybe 8 actual contenders every year and they were usually the same teams every single year

Dad's?

91 I was ten. 2000 I had finished my first year of college.

I thought you were older than me.

If only we had kept Roids a secret

We could be the only team in the world who knew about them like we were in the 90s

The number of teams and quality teams is the big difference from 1990’s.

The big difference is not the number of teams, it’s the lack of coaching at LSU. If you saw another team making errors like this, you would be mocking them. That’s the plain truth.

Ok. Then why are other teams so much better than us even when we have multiple players surprisingly return for senior years?

And 150 years ago Abner Doubleday knew to walk the other teams best hitter with a base open.

But yet Oregon State has won 3 titles, S Carolina almost won 3 titles in a row.

19 years ago I was a teenager. This isn’t MY LSU baseball program anymore.

But I won’t complain because PM is a good man and we have the greatest fans in baseball.

And? So in 19 years you have:

Oregon State - 3
South Carolina - 2
Texas - 2

Vanderbilt has a shot to make it 2 this season. So in the last 19 years there have been 11, possibly 12, one-time champions. Of which LSU is one. That's not a problem.

No one has come close to dominating a decade the way LSU did in the 90s and USC did in the 70s. That's the anomaly, not what is happening now.

Not just that, but also losing post season series after post season series AT HOME.

No more home field advantage at the Box. That is long gone.
