Very well stated!!!

Forget "a friend told me ____". That's doesn't count. Too many people could use that technique to further their argument.

However, if I am not mistaken, UM sent their plane down to Louisiana during their coaching search and it returned to Michigan with nobody extra on-board. Clearly they sent their plane here for a reason, and it wasn't to "talk" to Miles about hiring a third party. They could have talked to him on the phone. If these reports are true, Michigan was coming to make an offer and take Miles back with them.

That was back when Miles was edgy. I think all of his "Mad Hatter" style is dried up.
Michigan has -69 rushing yards in their last 2 games. Hoke is going to get himself fired and Michigan is going to be begging to get a coach with an NC who loves to run the ball.

I think Miles to Michigan is inevitable. Once they fire Hoke, it is going to be impossible for them to not offer Miles the job. And, he'll be so fed up with our fan base, he'll probably be glad to take the job.

I know for a fact that he was very close to accepting it as well

Ultimately decided it was best for his family to stay here

That was a bluff. And Alleva folded.

Les was never going anywhere.

This is stupid. There are only half a dozen college jobs out there that anyone would leave LSU for. What do you think, that Kansas St is going to call a LSU to inquire about their coach?

I would say this. Look at the people under him and what they have done. Then look at Saban and other great coaches under them. The Parcells, Belichick linage and now the Saban linage. What has the guys under miles ever gone on to do?

Um, the track records of those guys aren't exactly outstanding.

Lol, if he leaves, it won't be because of the LSU fanbase.

There should be some kind of tard power rankings.

Yes there should. There would be a long list tied at #1.

Maybe...but it's easy to just throw around namecalling like 'tards' without ever answering the guys question. You are challenging him that Miles has been offered other positions...if so, name them.

It really shouldn't be that hard of an exercise. A faux Michigan or Arky offer is not a substantiated offer by the way.

If LSU fired Miles at 1:00 pm today, there would be a line of airplanes a mile long at the BR airport full of AD's from across the country by nightfall. The delusion and idiocy of some of you people is beyond belief. Anyone not happy with what LSU is offering should jump ship and go root for Alabama. Don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out.

Be careful what you ask for, you may get it. It will be hard to find a proven winner who will come here in after the way we treat a guy who was in the national championship game just a couple of years ago. Yes, we got skunked, but about a hundred teams would have been glad to be there.

I think some changes need to be made, but not the top guy.

If LSU fired Miles at 1:00 pm today, any coach worth any salt, save for maybe 5 or 6, would be willing to entertain offers by tonight.

If Les was looking for a job today he'd have one by tomorrow. You're a fool if you think he's not desired by other programs.
